The thing that sticks out to me is not Trump giving the medal to Limbaugh... but that Trump is trying to win over black voters (sound political strategy in my opinion) and then sabotage that in one move. Being undisciplined and truth to self - authentically undisciplined and have much agreement to racial divisive views
He didn't just say that.....he said he wishes he has a painful death. He can blast Rush if he wants but his comments speak VERY LOUDLY about what's in his heart!!
So, presumably if it was 1940 and you found out Hitler had cancer it would be not so harsh to celebrate? Or Ossama bin Laden circa 2002. I'm interested in where the line is. Where do you cross over for it to be OK to be happy they are ill? Like, who are two sort of similar people who would straddle that line?
I know it wasn't directed at me. But I thought it was a very interesting question. I think I have two answers. The rational side of me says it doesn't matter, I wouldn't wish it on Hitler or OBL no matter what. The other side of me delights at the idea of those mass murderers suffering from cancer. So I would draw two lines. One would be in front of nobody. The other one would be everyone else and mass murderers/genocidal leaders. Again, sorry to but in and I don't mean to sidetrack, but it really was a very interesting question so I couldn't resist.
The painfulness or painlessness of his death is irrelevant IMO, He will spend eternity roasting and being tortured in hell Bon Voyage, Hurry Slimball Rocket River
Point taken very good point but those evil guys didn't die or was sick. There is a line rush is a bad guy true but he didn't do the same evil that those two example you used did.And there is nothing wrong with one being happy someone is sick but those that believe would not feel that way even though they don't like that person i don't like 45 but there are those that do.
Hitler was a direct threat to people's safety, as was Bin Laden. Their quick death would save lives. Rush is just someone whose opinions you find despicable.
