This is one of the most probable outcomes, especially with Harden and Morris being friends.

Morey would have to be an absolute magician to get Allen. They would also need a lot of help to get Thompson, which probably won’t happen either, but with his contract coming off the books I could still see it as a possible long shot. Best guess is that it will be something much more minor because they just don’t have a lot to work with right now. Prepare to be underwhelmed.

Not saying I want him, but he would be a poor man’s Capela here. He has similar rebounding and defensive skills.

No faith in Tilman yet, he will be takin on salary this year in an expiring for sure, he doesn't have the balls (or the right player) to go into lux tax next year.

Bro if its Tristan Thompson(a lot of salary so i doubt it) or freaking Thon Maker/Morris ......I will not be happy. There is no way its Jarret Allen, that would be like a huuuuge steal. Thomas Bryant though.....just right.

In honor of @jopatmc / @basketballholic and his other aliases, if/when we get Thon Maker I would like to ask @Clutch to lift the permaban so we can worship at the alter of Insider Newsletter.

Taking on Tony Snell to get Wood could be nice.

Taking CJ Miles on to get Wagner (get Wiz out of LT) is also interesting.

Jarret and Tristan....that would be around 21 mil. Don't see that as possible. Maybe one or the other. But hope not Tristan.

    Still would like 2 additions:

    1) a center that can be somewhat effective against Gobert and Joker

    2) a stretch 4 - I really like Marvin Williams via buyout after the deadline.

    Lol biff

You just really like to argue huh ?

If Tilman proves me wrong , I’ll eat my crow . But this dude has been a cost cutter since day one and has been extra loud about how “serious” he is about paying if an opportunity comes along .

Well we’ve had plenty of opportunity so far . Past trade deadlines , offseason moves , expanding trades .

So far it’s all just noise

    Yup.

Three guys that are physically aggressive, that do not take a lot of shots and that can all defend multiple positions.

Basically Morris/Tucker/Covington will do nothing except shoot a dozen 3's a game between them........... and Harden and Westbrook are going to be playing those basketball shooting games they have for kids at Chuckie Cheese.

Add House, maybe one or two more fillers and you can get Thompson i think.

If Morey gets Bryant he's god, but i don't see how it's happening with a 2022 pick.
