The Rockets will NOT have first pick out there out of FA Centers.

    We will get 3rd-4rth choices.

All the best options will go to the Clippers and Boston.

Well we will just have to wait and see if he does now that we actually have space to make more moves.. if we do, please come back in here and say you rushed to judge the initial trade.. I can’t see Morey shipping out Clint and others to make room and get cap space and not use it and leave us without a legit C to replace Clint. We too close for him not to take advantage of this opportunity.

I honestly am too old school when it comes to basketball strategy to think this will work out without decent bigs.

I know we clown on Shaq but man...I won't be surprised if we're crying about rebounding in the post season and interior defense. Bell and Hartenstein aint it...and while Capela wasn't it...I don't know, we'll see.

The ultimate Small ball experiment begins

Bell can only play the 5. Why year are you in? Also Timberwolves have this guy called Dieng who makes 16 mil a year who just might be slightly higher priority.

Idk what people expect to get from Capela. Is not like other teams don’t know that he gets most of his points because of Harden. So Capela can work only on a few teams. Capela runs well and rebounds well. But most of his points are at point blank and even then he seems like the most blocked on center. Also we need better spacing for Russ and Harden. If we get a decent center that can make shots inside the paint that aren’t just layups or dunks it would help us a ton. And if we can somehow find one that can be decent or ok on 3s that would be ideal but idk.

so yea we got good players in return for Capela. Now we will see if Capela can be this good without Harden. But he prob still get his points with Young as the point guard

This reeks of f**kface wanting to get under the tax as usual.

Guarantee we would have gotten more and gave up less with competent ownership.

Giving up a first-round pick along with Capela is an overpay, but a Covington-type player is more valuable than a Capela-type player in today’s NBA. Also, Clint Capela is only an elite role player, too. He’s not a star in the making.

He's streaky and he will get way more open shots in this system.

Covington will likely raise his shooting in Houston by a decent bit. Better players, more spacing, better stars setting him up.

No surprise House and BMac having great success because of that very reasoning.

Yeah..a player's injury history is irrelevant.
YOLO you may pass this argument against someone who has no clue about the NBA but not to me ,tyvm.

It has been reported that Covington may need surgery. He missed most of the year last season.

Now come and tell me that he isn't injury prone if you dare.

Come and tell me that to say that he isn't an injury waiting to happen is an overreaction.
