    They can still get a cheap guy like Noel, on paper, cause we don't even know if he's available and if a 2nd rounder would be enough.

    I don't think that's right, at least if we're talking solely about that part of the trade (maybe the overall trade was for LTS). We get under the tax without sending those guys out right? Seems like it's more to free roster spots/salary availability for a trade or buyout.

    Somebody let me know if I'm wrong, though.

    We are def better given Capela wasn't even playing. Lets hope he passes his physical

    We needed to get 2 back fro Clint, we did.... or at least Bell will get a shot to be our rim runner.

    covington will be good but the Rockets needed a serviceable big man back. I hope someone fails a physical ala Horry and Bull to rescind this. Its just seems like we give up everything all the time for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Green, Nene, CC,and a FRP for Covington and Bell. Just doesn't seem right

    I don’t think so.

    The Rockets got the exact wing they have wanted since before the season started. He is a perfect fit. They also are now $6,000,000 below the tax line and can still add. They lost a late #1 but gained an early #2.

    man what a shitty deal imo. So who the hell is our small ball center Jordan Bell ugh !!!!

    I realize Clint has issue but man this isnt gonna end well i don't think. Covington is a nice player but he isn't that needle moving ... No big deal losing Nene and GG (although I loved him he wasn't gonna help at all this year anyway). Think this was all about lowering salary and strapping us into small ball fro the duration which isn't going to end that well i am betting...
