Looks like what happened is Pete got a lot of 2nd round votes from one or both of Biden/Yang, and got the luck of the draw on some county delegates because he's down 1k total votes but is up 2% in delegates.

The more I view this election, the more it reminds me of 1972.

I could agree with that idea.

I'm a little surprised at the showing for Klobuchar. She was polling in the single digits and had what appears to be a decent showing. Not sure if it's enough for her to get to and through Super Tuesday if she doesn't improve but it is a good result.

Biden, however, this is a big shot to him, especially with reports of money problems. I know he's relying heavily on SC and the Super Tuesday states...but another bad showing in NH could be a big problem.

What does Biden do? He wins easily in NV, SC and is well positioned for Super Tuesday.

I’m sure his camp is disappointed in a likely 4th place showing, but this Iowa situation has been such a clusterf*** and an embarrassment for the party. I don’t think it helps or hurts anyone really.

Well one thing's is for sure, he is currently the second biggest douche bag that no one wants to win the primary. I dont know who the hell is voting for this guy and his garbage. He will lose so very easily to Trump.

Not so surprising with Biden going to Pete. I would have guessed they go to Pete or to Warren before Sanders.

Props to Tulsi Gabbard for getting 12, yes, 12 votes out of 113,000 last report I saw.

She lost, in fact, got crushed, by Deval Patrick whom nobody even knows is running and who somehow got 47 votes.

Yet, she was invited to all the debates and generated a ton of free media.

Good job Russia, Tulsi, Media, DNC process

Iowa just gave Pete another round of good press before they release all the results. Sneaky. Pete and dems do politics better against their own party than the republicans.

No wonder Biden looked so shell shocked 4th is rough.

Looks like a lot of urban votes are still uncounted. Bernie may have an edge there.

Mayor Pete crushed his Republican opponent, Norris Curry Jr. in 2011.

He was like Steph and Seth but even worse.

(disclaimer, I don't give an f about mayor pete, but will gladly start shoveling cash his way if he is the nominee)

Maybe, the CNN website had completely different vote %'s on the counties about 10 minutes ago... odd.

Those counties are very big, which is good for Sanders, but right now he's only up around 2-3% in most of them, all the small rural counties Pete has more sizeable leads. Bernie has 20 counties, mostly larger for him, Pete has over 50 smaller more rural counties for him.

It's possible Bernie wins the popular vote but looses on delegates, which would be very disappointing.

Another big story would be if Biden didn't hit the 15% mark.

I won't be giving sneaky pete my money, but I'll definitely vote for him if he wins the nomination.

People literally stand in groups and get counted. Its out in the open. People that went to the caucus would immediately know if their precinct numbers were wrong. The conspiracies are ridiculous.
