    Fertitta has already done this, which is why we lack assets. He got rid of our expiring contracts and gave away our draft picks to duck the tax.

    I don’t disagree. But that was the rationale then...circumstances change, and his opinions may have changed.

    anything said or leaked to the media is meant to influence, not inform (I wish people would realize this about the media and politics as well). His actions over the next 48 will tell us more than his words.
