    the article specifically mentions it would be TT in a buyout if the Rockets cannot find a CC replacement in a trade.

    So sick of this team's constant horse trading - once we had a 65 win team we should have kept it and made minor changes.

    Everything after that has made us worse, this will too.

    Yea, anything the team does is signed off by James first though. If TT comes on a buyout it's because James signed off. If TT comes in a trade it's because something went terribly wrong and tiLman forced Daryl to cut future salary.

    It's all conjecture.

    We will all be relieved when we trade Nene and cash considerations for salary savings and the rights to some foreign player in his mid 40s versus salary dumping Capela.

    The Athletic article says the Rockets would have interest in Tristan Thompson IF HE WAS BOUGHT OUT. No mention on TRADES for him. Just wanted to add that.

    The Athletic really put their journalistic integrity on the line by reporting that <insert NBA team> would be interested in <NBA player> if he's bought out and is available for cheap.

    I need to send them my own insider knowledge:

    Rockets would have interest in Kevin Love if he was bought out.
