Guess he's pretty good at keepin the ball secured when sacked.
Idk, I rather have a qb always trying to make that heroic play b/c he can rather than a qb who doesn't even have the ability to make the play.

Probably turnover ratio. Watson has one more touchdown but has thrown 3 times as many interceptions.

Andy Reid, Kelce, and Tyreek Hill plus Mahomes just has a better arm.

Besides just having a vastly better offense/playbook, Mahome just seems to make a little quicker reads and throws less interceptions.

I think the peripheral vision is a product of superior play-calling from Andy Reid. Mahomes ALWAYS has safety valves coming across his vision on pretty much every play, so he knows he can just throw the ball into the void in the middle of the field and someone will be there to catch it. BOB calls some of the dumbest, most convoluted plays I've ever seen, and then we wonder why Deshaun holds onto it for so long.

Pocket awareness is also a mixed bag. The one thing we all love about Deshaun is his ability to create magic out of a crap situation, which requires an insane amount of intestinal fortitude, agility, and awareness of your surroundings. However, he also has a tendency to create that drama by being unsure of where to go with the ball right off the bat. It's definitely something he can improve on.

I think they got the comparison backwards. It's not - does Mahomes put the texans in the super bowl, it's more like - does Watson also get the Chiefs in the Superbowl.

The first response beat me to it! One is coached by Andy Reid, the other by B O'B

It's sad how BOB added Duke Johnson, Kenny Stills, and Laremy Tunsil, moves that most Texans fans felt were major upgrades to the Texans offense (cost notwithstanding), then watch said offense match up against KC, and realize just how unbelievably big the gap truly is between this team and a real contender.

Anyone who lauded BOB for "trying to win" just needed to watch the playoffs to see how fruitlessness his offseason efforts has been. The offense failed in both games and only won one of them because the opposing offense failed even harder

Good luck to Bob & Deshaun ever winning a ring with this guy around the next 15 years.

They seriously gave Mahomes that mvp last night over Williams? Lol

if only Deshaun had a HOF coach guiding him and weapons like tyreek and Kelce

Mahomes would kill it in B.O.B 's version of the week to week uggs offense, where his receivers will be stationary with no pre snap deception, rub routes will only be used maybe in 3 games all season as will the screen game and the hot routes will be 12 yard outs.

    * I think B.O.B could easily fix things but he'd have to let go of what he remembers 'the patriots way' being.
I digress since stubbornness is hard to kick. :raises hand:
