Well said @ElPigto we're lucky to have those guys posting here, Clutchfans literally has a legit big 3 in ch, cyber and cod, the Triple C, maybe in honor of the triple chin of Daryl
And we got a steal The way i like to think (more like "dream") about this is something like: HOU IN: Collins, Covington/Gordon ATL IN: Capela, 1st rounder (via Houston) MIN/ORL IN: Len, Parker, House/McLemore, 1st rounder, 2nd rounder/s (via Houston) ... or: HOU IN: Collins, Covington, Gordon, Bamba/Reid ATL IN: Capela, 1st rounder (via Houston), 2nd rounders (via Houston), House/McLemore, Hartenstein MIN/ORL IN: Reddish/Huerter, 1st rounder (via Houston) ... In the first scenario you could still go after a guy like Noel/Holmes maybe. But my guess is that we just don't have enough assets to get Collins and a starter like Covington/Gordon. Maybe a guy like Marcus Morris.
I like Collins and I’m open to moving CC but this ain’t it. How does Collins help us? He’s smaller, weaker, not nearly as good of a defender and rebounder compared to Clint. There’s not a damn thing he does better than Clint except score more points (on way more shots at a lower percentage). We already have enough guys that like to shoot on this team that aren’t particularly efficient at doing so. I’m far from a CC truther but he’s also got valuable playoff experience/success sans warriors. Collins on the other hand has none. The only way I see us trading CC for Collins is as a precursor to other moves, blowing it up and rebuilding. In which case I’m all for it.
You realize he was suspended right? Hawks 4-21 when he was suspended Hawks 9-14 when he’s playing this year Last year? Collins injured his ankle in the preseason & missed the first 17 games. Hawks were 3-14 (worst record in the nba at time) Hawks ended the season 18-22. He definitely makes a big impact & is not putting up empty stats.
I hope the Rockets would get another serviceable center if they make a similar trade, i'm a huge fan of Collins, so much that i still can't believe we have a chance to get him, but i don't want him to play full time center.
One possible trade scenario based on that Hawks rumor: Clint Capela for John Collins Jabari Parker Traveon Graham Rockets would then likely waive Nene to meet the 15-man roster limit. Houston would duck the tax this season (and possibly next season as well) and would also generate an $8.4M TPE. My guess is Atlanta would also want at least one first rounder from Houston in that deal. I don’t particularly like any Capela/Collins swap, but this is a variation of that general trade idea that would make sense from a cap/tax perspective.
In that scenario I would look to move Parker (6.5M) to another team for a different depth piece. Perhaps a traditional C.
To OKC for Noel maybe, so they can have a replacement for Gallo and we lower the salaries even further and Tilman will be happy.
We gonna regret moving Capela unless I-Hart is ready to step in as a starter (Maybe/maybe not) this will be a bad move. who cares how many points Capela scores His elite rim protection and rebounding is key to success in playoffs. Smh
Also, we not making any deals. No one likes to work with us. Trades to keep cap low is all I see us doing
Win... how??? Shaq and Penny were their last chance - - or was it T-Mac and Dunc er Grant Ankle (ouch)?

Agree that Lucas is great asset for troubled players with addiction issues but PEDs are a different type of drug that not really Lucas specialty.
