LMAO at bringing up the veterans giving their life for their country into a rape. Do you know me? Then how do you know that I didn't care about the heinous crime he commited, before his death? But even for those who only care now because they weren't NBA fans or didn't know about the case, it is better than not caring at all. At least they aren't hypocrites or victim shamers.
Which means that he was innocent? Please show me the article in the penal code that shows that dropping a case is proof of innocence. I guess when the mafia kills off the witnesses before they have a chance to testify and the case is dropped, that too is proof of innocence right?
The fact Shaq and Kobe hadn't talked since Kobe's last game shows they weren't really cool with each other, regardless if Shaq says he loved him.
Regarding the rape charge, I don't believe the victim. Wasn't she bragging about having sex with him right after it happened ??
he texted shaq's son they morning he died. Their relationship was different and not something any of us can understand. we should stop
I agree with you on this instance... There's multiple contemporary acknowledge ments that Shaq and Kobe met up and talked as well as hung out off camera. The media can wreak havoc on personal lives past point of appropriate access..
Famous athletes are easy victims for extortion We don’t know what really happened this news is still extremely sad A bunch of people died going to their daughters basketball practice
I think there are two reasons this one hits so close to home for so many people, whether they liked him or hated him. 1) He always seemed kind of "invincible", smugness and all. Someone even said that he would have thought if a helicopter crashed, he would have thought Kobe is the one person who somehow made it. Unfortunately, none of us is invincible. 2) The tragic death of his daughter. As to the rape discussion, what I was told back then (I think I posted it) by someone close to the NBA "family" was that the sex was initially consensual, but the part Nook is referring to was not.
Just wanted to say that as a Rockets fan, I respected Kobe, but didn't adore him or for that matter, like him all that much. But the work he was doing as a basketball analyst was first rate. Just look at his ESPN+ show Detail, bits of which are on Youtube. It was superb. And by losing him now, we just lost one of the best analysts I've ever seen. And we could have had decades of that content had he lived.
Off topic a little bit, and I'm definitely not pointing this finger at you specifically or anything. However, I find it absolutely fascinating how many people on this board are saying this regarding the Kobe case 'Kobe acquitted so he's innocent & were not to judge ect.. ect..' then turn right around and within minutes go to the debate and discussion board to harp on Trump & his upcoming acquittal. As a bystander to the discussion, again, it's just simply fascinating to witness the hypocrisy and double standard of some members here.
