That’s another problem with MDA. He always chooses offense over defense. Not a championship mentality. Oh well. Only have to put up with him for a few more months. Then his ass is gone. Doubt he ever coaches again either.

I wouldn't be too surprised if MDA got another coaching job. His regular-season record is pretty good and that's all some franchises care about.

 

If he's not good enough to get a single second of PT when we don't have a single guy over 6'6" on the court he needs to get cut tonight.

Capela, Hartenstein, its pretty much the same. Do you know that our starting 5, is outside of the top 10 for offensive efficiency? But when Westbrook is off, we are clearly number one.Not saying that Westbrook hasnt been great, hes been awesome and I like him a lot but one of the main reasons Westbrook is able to go off is because of the spacing weve been giving hijm.

 

What? You need both to win a championship, do you honestly believe playing Hartenstein is gonna give us a top 10 defense....nah not at all, Dantoni is doing what gives us the best chance to win.

 

Wether hes that good or not....I dont really think so, but I do think hes earned some back up minutes for Capela. But I also think its overblown how much people think playing him increases our chances of winning.

 

Well to be fair, lately our defense has been better small. IDK if it's because Clint's heel or maybe it's hardens minutes but we have had more success small. Hart was awful the last couple of times he did play.

 

Like I said, there's only a small sample size for Hartenstein. Obviously MDA doesn't trust him. Since we've stated that MDA is the guy, why is iHart still here? Unless the FO still believes in him (or are just that cheap).

Top 10 defense? Not with this coaching staff.

 

I don't. House wasn't an MVP in the G League, but he gets over 34 min a game so much, and all the opportunity in the world all season to develop. If Hartenstein had that many minutes all year I guarantee you would see a better player.

 

I don't think people are asking for much. Surely he's good enough to give PJ 5 Gametime minutes to rest his shoulder right?

 

The point is that Westbrook cant be his best self without small ball. Im not saying Mike isnt being stubborn but yall need to like reel it back for how much he helps this team.

 

Our starting 5 actually have a good defensive rating(just okay offensive rating though), its our bench that has a trash defense. To have good defense, you need good defensive players. Why doesnt Dallas have a good defensive team, cause everyone knows how good Carlisle is?
