Be prepared to let it slip back down again soon when he denies the last-ditch motions to avert a sham trial in order to "protect the Court" while democracy that the Court is supposed to protect gets shafted again - a consistent theme of his time on the bench.

Two of those committed criminal acts. The 3rd was a victim of another person committing a crime but was not involved in whistleblowing. Not sure why they'd be comparable to someone who used proper channels and is protected by whistleblower statutes.
I’m going to point out Edward Snowden outed himself. Valeria Plame wasn’t a whistleblower but am undercover operative who was exposed for political payback towards her husband. There are many on the Left who strongly disagree with Manning’s punishment.
For anyone who claims to want checks in Federal power and protection for individual liberty to try to out a federal whistleblower is the height of hypocrisy. Then again i don’t really expect more from Rand Paul. Justin Amash is the closest thing to being Ron Paul’s ideological heir.

Exactly. And as a federal employee, I am subject to the same laws and protections as the Trump whistleblower. Every single day I walk past posters and billboards explaining this right to expose corruption and/or wrongdoing. And I would feel this way regardless of the subject in question — Democrat, Republican or otherwise.
Do I believe Americans should know the identity of the person that started the entire impeachment process. Yes. Yes I do. p.s. He's already been outed. Not sure what this whole stupid pretending we don't know who he is accomplishes.
I have come to the conclusion that Rand Paul doesn’t really know what the hell he stands for other than getting publicity. He fights with Republicans at odd times and get press coverage. He makes odd statements and does political stunts and gets press coverage.
