I disagree, Joe being old isn't the problem, his cognitive decline is. It doesn't hit people all the same, Bernie is still very sharp, Bloomberg is very sharp, Warren is very sharp. I dislike putting an age restriction, I think voters should just pay attention when people are clearly acting crazy and off like Biden and Trump have so many times.

    I disagree with your disagreement.

Tired of old people running things, and Bernie comes across as just as old as the others.

I disagree with your disagreement of my disagreement, I agree with me. :D

Bernie physically looks like a dinosaur, he's loud and rough, and I think he might have a hard time hearing. If that's what you mean then yeah he probably comes off as the oldest of all the presidential candidates to most people.

That being said, from what I've seen he has not shown any major cognitive decline like Trump or Biden. The dude is sharp as a tack and always knows what he's talking about, I haven't seen him repetitively slurring words, being confused and babbling off mid-sentence like Trump and Biden. Same for Warren / Bloomberg.

Bernies and old man but there's a reason the young people love him the most, his ideas, policies, and campaign are far from old. He's often been decades ahead of the curve his entire career.

His movement reminds me very much of Ron Paul's, and I'd imagine the Venn Diagram of their young supporters would be interesting.

    But that's just me.

I remember Ron Paul hype, what made him very popular was being pro-weed and anti-military intervention which were very unique (and correct) positions for his time. I respect that he actually had an ideology he truly believed in and wasn't a careerist changing as the wind blew. That being said some of his views were NUTTY, with some sort of wild dream of no public spending (including education, healthcare, welfare), and no taxes.

He is senile and doddering for one.

And the fact that you used a clip from a right wing site is another.

It strikes me as irresponsible to take on a position of executive power like that at an advanced age.

Age is just a number, but numbers also tell us that after a certain age the likelihood and rate of physical and mental decline increases exponentially.

I have concerns about Biden and Bernie's age to the point I would prefer that neither one of them serve a second term.

People kind of gloss over Trump being 74 years old because he has hair plugs, a spray tan, and is constantly on uppers/speed, but the concern is real for him too.

We have an age floor for President and I think it may be time we institute an age ceiling for the same reasons.

It's not clear to me that getting aggressive when confronted by Trump will be a bad thing.

Do we need to look up the definition of "grab" now? lol

He grabbed both sides of his jacket with two hands. Grabbing someone's clothes like that is an intimidation technique. If someone grabbed my jacket like that I'd pus their hands off of me.

It probably wouldn't. But some of his interactions with people have been pretty bad.

So is Vice a member of the MSM or not or can I cry foul about the MSM running a hit piece on Biden?

I watched it without sound so I was only thinking about body language. I think the standing close, squaring up to talk, and the touching were conducted to increase intimacy so this guy feels like Biden is really thinking of him in his response (whatever that was). But, that intimacy is also a bit of a power play, presuming a dominant position like a father figure. So I don't think intimidating is quite the right adjective, but it's a bit domineering which can be taken a variety of ways. Someone who accepts Biden's authority might appreciate the intimacy, while someone who rejects it might find the behavior combative, and someone in the middle might see it as inappropriate. It's easy to say Biden is too handsy -- and probably he is if he's losing votes from spectators -- but i can see how it is an effective tool for him in interpersonal power dynamics.

I agree it was a bit of power play and yes combative but I don't think it was an aggressive grab.

With that said he definitely caught himself before he went too far.

I think Biden is kind of pissed off with these gotcha questions and moments, I wonder who was operating that camera.

    I like grumpy Joe.
