Lol not anywhere near the elevation as in previous seasons. I mean just look at his total dunk attemps this season compared to 2017-18

It's so blatantly obvious he packed on pounds.

 

Still 2-2 on a 4 game road trip. Not bad

 

So...we are doing this by dunk attempts now? .....Jesus man, enough.

 

Do you not actually watch Rocket games? Can you not visually see the difference in weight between 17-18 and the current season?

 

No. I'm saying we need another star who can help him in other ways. Having another dominant ball handler who can't shoot doesn't help Harden in the long run. It actually makes it easier for the other team. Double team Harden so he goes out of rhythm and just guard the lane so Westbrook doesn't have his layups or dunks. Harden used to average 25 shots a game, but I'm pretty certain that's dropped over the last 25 games or so. Maybe Westbrook wasn't happy with having the ball less, and maybe Harden compromised to let Westbrook be the main ball handler.

Obviously there's something off about Harden's shot. I'm not that blind. But we've also got a team of inconsistent shooters. Gordon shoots 14/22 the other night and then shoots 2/10 tonight. House shoots 6/14 the other night and then shoots 2/8 tonight. Rivrers shoots 7/21 the other night and then shoots 6/11 tonight. Tucker shoots 2/4 the other night and then shoots 2/7 tonight. You literally don't know what players are going to turn up for the Rockets most nights.

 

Rockets just don't have the juice to overcome the chicanery in the playoffs. Hopefully they can reach the WCF, but with 2 teams grieving in LA, the memorial might be held at Staples during the WCF with Lakers and Clippers playing to get to the Championship.

You don’t need 15 3 point shooters to win a title. We have enough shooters even though they’re inconsistent as hell lol. Russ does other things like points in the paint, rebound, find open shooters etc. at times we shoot too many 3s even though Golden state Warriors shot mid range shots. Lol

 

He also wasn't getting doubled teamed from half court, or the team weren't packing the lane so much from when he drives back in the 17-18 season. The other teams know that if you stop Harden, you pretty much stop the Rockets. Wasn't the case back then. We actually had a CP3 who could shoot, so you couldn't leave CP3 wide open..... and our support was decent for the most part. Better and more consistent from the 3pt line. Totally different circumstances.

 

No, I dont see I decline, his production also went up. He also performed better against the Warriors this year than he did last year.

Looking at the box score it's frightening how bad the rest of this team played besides Rivers, BMac (offensively) and Russ. Clint, PJ, Ego and House were ****ing pathetic man ... This team is headed for a bottom seed and may play their way out of the playoffs just yet...

 

This is dumb. Harden was having maybe his best season ever before January. This is meaningless.

 

Show me a picture of Harden mid season last year? Ill wait.

 

I just wish the Rockets would lose games with Harden resting.

 

That first picture was literally 2 months before the season started. That's literally the worst nitpick you could use.

I bet you won't mention the intense training games he was having during August and early September.

 

Rational coaching is simply not in the cards for this team.

 

How is it dumb? Harden has z unsustainable shooting stretch from 3. I would much rather have 17-18 Harden who was a far supt defender and played with more pep in his step compared to more stationary iso dribbles.

To say that level of difference in leanness has no effect on his game in the highest level of basketball is just insane.

 

You referring to those iso dribble sessions he recorded?

 

I’m still waiting on someone tell me when Harden magically suffered this injury when he was cooking against the Hawks the First quarter, it’s been all down hill from there.
