Lol wow, I never realized the current logo is a silhouette of Jerry West. Embarrassing, as I've probably watched close to 2000 NBA games.
Ok, but he's not selling the team for money. It's a rarity that someone buys a NBA Team to sell like stocks for profit. These people are already mega rich. Except for Les Alexander who was a greedy b*stard
This is dumbest thing I've heard. He's one of the original greats of the game. That's why he's the logo. And on top of that, he's one of the best or the best GM of all time. @Os Trigonum @Deckard The NBA has been around longer than you have been alive and playing Fortnite
I respect him for actually turning that organization from a pile of junk to an actual NBA organization. I remember when they were like a G-League level team. "As a long time suffering Mavericks fan, we were voted the worst professional franchise... I just wanted a winning team.."
Retiring a non-Rocket number is as reactionary as trading Harden and naming EG the new face of the franchise. Disrespecting to Moses Malone.
OK, boomer. Its one of the dumbest things you've heard? That I didn't know some random fact about the logo, which I admitted to? WTF is your problem? I know plenty about Jerry West and his ,accomplishments but the the fact that he is the logo has not come up in a broadcast that I have seen, and I have seen hundreds of Hubie Brown broadcasts. You seriously make this forum less fun, you really sound like you abuse the people in your life, sad. Go back to posting cat pictures on facebook, which millennials created for you.
Wait, what?? You should probably look up some more on the game... He's often directly referred to as "the Logo"... He's also the only player in NBA history to win a Finals MVP playing for the team that lost... the only other player to even come close to that feat I would have to say would have been LeBron James when he was close to winning it himself against the Warriors (with Love/Irving both out). On a side note, the NBA refuses to officially acknowledge that it's his silhouette, even though it was fairly obvious at the time
Well I have watched well over 2000 games, but if the commentating wasn't such trash maybe I would not have had my tv on mute for the last two decades.
Haha, I definitely agree with you there, muting is like pretty much required these days, most announcers are trash now, I mean it's also not regularly discussed anymore, and regardless I'm sure a lot of people don't know. And also, I was trying to edit my post in time, but the NBA won't even officially recognize it, but they stole it from a magazine iirc.
Jerry West traded Vlade for Kobe at the draft But I guess fortnite Harden newbs don’t know that also it’s Abraham Lincoln that’s the dude on the coins you ask for
Omg who cares. Prob the stupid Laker fans in here chanting mvp to karuso. Who cares about Kobe's death
When you were a little kid, did someone say to you.... "The NBA has been around longer than you have been alive and playing Nintendo?"
