Honestly for once Dan Tonio's small line up works. It completely takes Gobert out of the paint, and we have multiple guards to switch on Donovan and Conley on the perimeter. They have a guard driven offense and we have a lot of guards
Our 4th quarter was a bit of a mess again. We allowed 42 points. It's happened far too much this season. Luckily Gordon was being aggressive and efficient in that final quarter. Sounds like I'm complaining. But I would like us to be more stronger in the final quarter. It's definitely a great win, and it should give the guys the much needed confidence to go on a streak.
I think the team knew they needed a win. Coach actually un-crossed his legs and prepped his guys tonight. They were relentless against Gobert and this was a huge confidence builder for our small ball lineup. We have options against this Jazz team in the playoffs. Clint has had good history playing against them and now we have this game as reference for small ball lineup. Caveat that this is probably the *only* team that our small ball lineup would see consistent success.
I still stand by my comment he is a terrible coach. He's lucky Gordon had a career high scoring night.... and he was very efficient whilst doing it. Gordon has been very hit or miss this season, so nobody was expecting it.
Yep. They disappointed me and House made me happy for the first time in a long time. Sefo of course did what I like that I know he can do.
