I wish MDA wouldn't play all the knuckle headed players together. 2 young players and BMac makes no sense. Play Hartenstein with PJ, Play Clemons with Rivers. So you have a balance.
Neither can Russ but we tried that out Still Russ will shoot them if he is super wide open . Plus Russ has other weapons . He can drive to the rim . I don’t expect Hartenstein to get a head of steam and cross up his man The option we’ve chosen is “burn x second off the shot clock trying to have Hartenstein pass the ball.” The shot we get is normallly pretty bad When it’s not very early in the clock , Hartenstein should just shoot those . If nothing else the other team might think he can make it . Their scouts probably wonder what he is doing given he’s not being played. He CAN make them . He made them in the g league finals .
Does anyone know why we play switch nearly everything. Defense? the only year it worked was when they had great defensive players. When any solid defensive scheme would work. we’re the only team that seems to defend this way and while I’m not a statistician, nor did I sleep at a holiday inn last night, it’s not clear it’s any better than other defensive schemes.
House again. How many times can u hear me shaking my head. Lol and idk who said House is a good defender. All I see is him letting his man go by or foul him.
