He’s just not playing well and he’s gonna step back three his way out of it, wins and losses be damned.
"Don't know, don't care" - Bumtoni Harden is 30+ now. When I hit 30, I started having all sorts of health issues pop up because of all the drinking, smoking, unhealthy food I ate in my 20s. Although, I'm not an NBA superstar, I can only imagine what guys like Harden and PJ's body is going through having to play so many heavy minutes without any load management or rest. Ironically if Dantoni really wanted to run our guys into the ground, he should doing that to our younger players. We already have the oldest team in the league.
Lol the Lin trolls having a jolly time. Once harden starts balling the likes of cheke and the rest of his lin troll buddies will crawl back to the very hole they came out of
who knows if he's actually hurt. he very well could be. but he's in a huge slump and it could be just that. there doesn't have to be some excuse for every thing. whatever it is, breaking out of it at some point can't come soon enough. this team is just a overall mess right now
he is allowed to have a slump guys. he had one last year during his historic scoring season also. i wish he would play a bit smarter when his shot isnt falling but i am not too worried about james. he is one of the best to lace them up. role players, front office and dantoni reverting back to small ball lately are a much bigger concern.
Dude is going to have to realize that he is 30 and not 29. Any warm blooded male will tell you there is absolutely a difference. I think Louis C.K. said it best "every **** become an emergency".
If he really is forcing himself to play hurt like PJ tucker is then you know Owners are just too cheap to pay for depth. Everyone complains D'antoni only plays 7 players. Welp Tillman is only willing to pay for 7.
yep dun know nothing but step back 3s LOL 18.3 DRIVES/gm 14.5 POTENTIAL ASSISTS/gm 12.4 FTA/gm 13 3PA/gm
If he’s hurt he should sit until he gets better...sounds like an excuse. We’re dealing with grown men here...useless thread.
Probably not, but if Harden is dinged up then add it to list of injured/returning from injury Rockets: Westbrook (knee, hand/fingers) Capela (heel) Gordon (knee) Tucker (nerve/shoulder) House (back) Rivers (thumb) Green (foot) That's entire starting 5, 6th man and a key reserve. Would not be so bad if vet depth could actually contribute more than every 3 or 4 games, in Nene and Green's case consider them done. Sefolosha (age) Chandler (age) Nene (unofficially retired) Only McLemore, Hartenstein and Clemons appear relatively healthy. No NBA team can depend on these 3 to win games. How does any coach expect to win with such a decimated roster? Nevermind the personnel fit/talent discrepancy.
Guy can't win with some people. He's always played thru injuries for the team. Sprained ankles, the shoulder, blind in one eye. But let's continue with the "Not a leader", "No heart" , "Stats over winning" narratives then call a potential injury an excuse. The same posters would be calling him soft if he missed games.
Everyone is playing hurt. He should sit if he is not fit to play. It's just regular season right now. Health in the playoffs is more important. No excuses
From his way of dribbling 20s and bricking in almost every possession, I don’t think he is playing hurt. If he really hurt, why doesn’t he pass the damn ball or rest some games?
We counting “potential assists” as an official stat now? Spamming 13 3’s per game while shooting at 36% when the league average is 35% is not something to gloat about and it sure as hell isn’t a formula to win a Championship.
