Why would he take a shot in that situation if Tucker's wide open in the corner to tie the game? He wasn't wide open for a 3pt attempt.... and why would you want him shooting anymore 3pt attempts after the night he's had? Even if he makes a difficult mid-range jumper, we'll still be 1 behind with only 15 seconds to go.... and OKC were in the bonus, so they'll more than likely be up by 3 points seconds later. He made the right pass, just Westbrook decided to act dumb and steal the pass.

So OKC without their starting and backup centers beat a fully healthy Rockets in Houston... I guess it doesn't get much worse. Good that didn't watch the game.

Chris Paul held guys accountable where Harden and MDA do not. He was a coach on the floor.

Rockets don’t have leadership. They don’t have direction. They don’t have situational awareness.

I didn't watch the game. But why was Westbrook standing at the same spot as Tucker on that last play? This team is so messed up now.

Doesn't help that Capela was giving up dumb fouls as well

Idiots earlier really need to eat crow. This was known from the beginning. Just stubborn assholes on here that will move goal posts to an argument they already framed

How come he isn’t showing up in the playoffs?

14 points and 2 assists in 36 minutes while being a game worst -36 in a game they lost by 13

He looks like last year's Chris Paul when he had to Iso. Just doesn't have the speed anymore to beat someone 1 v 1. Still crafty tho

wow, that was a horrible game by him. I mean i have not been on the CP3 rejuvenation bandwagon. He's had a solid year, great. But even if it was a down CP3, that's a horrible game.

You can't be -36 in a playoff game. That was by far his worst +/- playoff game of his career.

What's worse for OKC, if he doesn't turn it around, ALL of the good work he put in during the season gets negated, from a trade value perspective, imo. He only becomes valuable at that point to some very specific situations, and even then they aren't getting anything of value back cause yo still have to pay him $85 million over the next two years.

He knows he's not winning a chip this year, just folding his hand.

He knows his best shot at winning a chip is a buyout after he picks up his player option.

    WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER.

You guys can harp on him all you want. The contract extension was agreed to upon the trade to Houston. Regardless of it being a good decision or not. He gets every ounce of what he can do to win. I respect him greatly and wish the guy well.

In this case, "crafty" = "constantly trying to draw fouls at the expense of making a good play"

    Lmao.

People forget that the Rockets are as much a horror scenario for his new team as the Thunder are a challenge on paper.

They have to defend, shoot tons of 3s too and literally crash the offensive glass which OKC isn't great at.

I think CP3 didn't work out as much as other 'star players' during the break.

    It's alright to be a 3rd option.

Every ounce of what he can do to win would be to ask for a buyout/trade, or opt out of his player option next season (which he won't).

He's going to ride the coattails of some other team to win his chip.

I guess he’s valuable to a contender if he’s the clear 3rd or 4th option who can smartly run the offense or maybe to a team like Orlando starving for PG play if they’re not ready to hand the reigns over the Fultz...other than that, Idk

he just can’t get into the paint....he doesn’t bend defenses...there’s no lumbering big for him to take advantage of in our small ball lineup...on defense, he’s more of a pest with good hands that can flop effectively than some legit All-Defense level defender

Russ has issues, but he can get u 40 against the Lakers and Celtics on the road...he can take over and win u a game...he can give u an A+ level game whereas Chris Paul gives u a consistent C-B minus level performance

He is just too small at his age to be a top player anymore. Like I just said though I highly respect the guy though.
