They look shook. Like two different teams. 1st and 2nd half

 

I mean, it helps when Lebron James actually wants to come to your team.

 

Clark was waived, not like it really mattered since he couldn't get on the court.

This is so accurate. When I watch other teams I’m appalled that other players can make shots

 

if harden doesn't have an mvp performance this team is lottery level.

When the shot isnt falling, the Rockets quit. There is no plan if the wide open shots don't fall to get closer shots at the rim. Add to that, MDA hates young players that can contribute.

I just don't think it's happening this year.

 

We're not even good enough to worry about Westbrook dragging us down anymore.

The ref with the 48 (i think) is the one who basically made all the calls against us in this game

The Rockets are predictable and it’s a testament to Harden’s talent that they’ve won as much as they have. But no player is good enough to beat another team single-handedly yet Harden keeps trying to do just that with his playing style. ISO ball or hanging out by the half court line when he doesn’t have the ball isn’t winning basketball and never will be.

An analogy - some time in the 80s, the entire lineup of Miles Davis band turned over with the exception of bass player Darryl Jones. To make up for the lack of experience in the new band mates, Jones found himself playing a lot more to keep things together. However, Miles asked Jones why he was playing more - when Jones explained what he was trying to do, Miles told him “you can’t fix things by playing more....you have to play less.”

By insisting on always running the offense, Harden has contributed to the lack of playmaking and offensive capabilities of his teammates. That’s not to say he should let Clint iso in the post 5x a game, but he needs to work with D’Antoni to run plays where someone else passes to him for the shot. Otherwise, teams will continue to simply double team him and challenge him into bad shots or worse attempts to split the double on a drive.

This team and coach are so frustrating!

 

WB has been the only thing keeping this from being a 20+ pt blowout.

 

This is probably one of the worst times of watching Rockets I've seen. At least with the bad Rockets teams you at least knew. This team plays great then Mike doesn't know how to coach and lets leads evaporate and then they try and overcome it. And Harden and Westbrook getting double teamed with no team ball or hustle. Done with this team until they make a change. Be watching it from my phone until then.

Get a boat load of picks for james and russ. Some young players.

 

lol clutchfans sweared he was the next jimmy butler....Our team is not talented outside of 3 guys offensively. On top of that when you are doubling harden like they are makes it even easier to see that. They have pretty average players themselves but at least they run a system. Bigger then that is just a lack of effort consistently and that is the biggest killer of this team. If you can't score get rebounds, steals, and do what these exact lakers are doing play defense.
