Nah. Maybe. Cant shoot...still remians to be seen in the playoffs. Curry .....maybe, if Harden has his teammates, i dont think so. These are the nicest things you've ever said about and look at how much prodding I had to do....sheesh. Out off all these guys, who's had the best teammates?
John Stockton - bad leader Steve Nash - bad leader Karl Malone - bad leader Charles Barkley - bad leader Any player without a championship - bad leader Rocket River
Durant??!! Durant is not even on the same level as Harden, neither is curry nor lebron they only got a great reputation because they played on stacked teams and in the east or the refs were helping them a lot. Lebron played last 10 years in the east on the most stacked teams.. first year in the west he didnt even make the playoffs... lolol
His “leadership” wasn’t why he won those rings. Let me know when Harden has arguably the most dominant center ever to play the game for multiple seasons. Even then it took a massive NBA intervention against the Kings to keep that going.
I don't understand the Harden hate. Houston is lucky to have him. The guy has incredible smarts and work-ethic to get where he is with the tools that he has. There are about 23 other reasons for our not winning a championship that contributed way more than Harden's lack of leadership or anything else Harden did or didn't do. I don't know why we have to keep rehashing this stuff.
Lol curry being better stop embarrassing yourself chowder brain. Harden has new defensive scheme built solely to stop him and if you think Curry could do what harden is doing with the same defensive focus then you are a bigger idiot then what the majority of us believe you are . Do everyone here a fave and just stop
One of the main differences between Harden and guys like Lebron, Kobe, Jordan and Wade is what happens when their respective team starts going in a drought on offense and defense especially during the playoffs. Those 4 had elite level stamina and conditioning where they could out condition everyone else on the court and they would kick it to another gear when their teams are struggling. They'll start sprinting on transition defense trying to chase down players on the break away. They'll start picking their pace and push the ball up the court at full speed or they'd start sprinting off the ball to get an easy bucket from a pass. They start making quick moves without the defense having an ability to set their defense. Their entire goal is trying to get the opposing defenders winded which effects the opposing team's offense AND defense because in their minds they are the best conditioned athletes on the court at any given time. Harden is the opposite. When his outside shot isn't falling and his team's defense starts falling apart he instead starts sulking. He starts standing around and complaining to the refs and walking he ball up casually. A lot of that has to do with those 4 just being better conditioned in turns of cardiovascular stamina. That is one of the key differences between Harden and those 4 in the playoffs where those 4 could push their team through in a pivotal playoff game when their team is struggling or when their outside jumper isn't falling.
Lol that series was ridiculously low scoring, Gasol was really good when he came to the Lakers. Artest was still there along with Odom. Hell Bynum was on the squad. Maybe you don’t remember but game 5 against the Suns the Lakers choked away a 18 point lead then were saved by Artest. I guess Kobe didn’t feel like leading at that moment.
Everyone knows CP3 is a great leader and he doesnt have a ring because Harden is lazy and a bad leader -Chowd LMAO Am I doing it right?
Either you are being selective, or you have not been watching NBA for too long....or maybe your memory is failing you. Those Shaqless Kobe's team that won the rings were not that great. The NBA was pretty weak those days. Hell, A Yao Ming-less Rockets team led by Aaron Brooks and Artest took them to the limit. Harden's Rockets would have dismantled those teams. Conversely those Kobe's Lakers teams would be hard pressed to win a single game against the stacked Warriors team. Watched the Game 7 of the NBA finals, Lakers vs Celtics? Kobe was trash that game. Artest and Gasol saved him. If they hadn't it would be known as one of the biggest choke jobs in a clutch game by a super star. Watched Kobe's performance in a game 7 against the Suns in the playoffs? The guy literally refused to show up. Watched Lebron James choke mightily against the Mavs in the NBA Finals? The guy had a mental breakdown and thus countless jokes were made about Lebron's performance in the series. His choke job and him being shut down by Marion was the reason Heat lost the Finals. Watched Lebron struggle against Kawhi in the NBA Finals? Had it not been for Ray Allen's heroics in game 6, it would have been two Finals series choke jobs under Lebron's resume...WHILE being on a super team.
Your gauge of whether they were good or not is that they almost got beat by Yao Ming? really? So **** Yao Ming then hunh?
