You are literally reaching for straws. OKC just got 3 first round exits in a row and was more than likely going to start the rebuild anyway.

Why the f would Kawhi try to recruit Harden who is pretty much content with wanting to win a title in Houston.

Why didn't Kawhi recruit Jokic or Giannis, must be because nobody wants to play with them

What the hell are you talking about? The Rockets were not dealing Harden and Leonard wanted to go to LA. Just stop it.

We had Cp3 and Harden played the same way. He does the same **** with Russ on the floor. Even though I’m new to this board, I’ve been a rockets fan for a long time, no time for the excuses. Harden lead the league in assists 1 season. It’s time he starts creating for others more/ make better decisions with the ball.

We never had a realistic shot at Kawhi. The man had the adoration of an entire country and gave it all up to play at home lol.

If Harden is going to dominate the ball I prefer if he did it more like his earlier days or like how CP3 dominates the ball by constantly moving and dribbling attempting to probe the defense, allowing his teammates to move off ball in sync with where Harden is probing.

This standing around on one spot and dribbling is just allowing defenses to rest and easily predict how to defend.

Houston were winning with Harden on the court..................we got killed with him off it

What is the point of setting up players if they just miss shots like tonight...........the passer still gets the blame

The first season with Paul the ISOs were split between the two. Then Paul decline....but it doesn't matter because that's the past. Harden does wonders creating for all of the one-trick ponies we have on the roster. I agree that we need more ball movement, but alot of these guys aren't capable of that. What we really need is a major roster shake up.

    I agree with this though.

1-2 seed will be going up against a very mediocre team. Memphis is hot right now but I think in the end it'll be a more experienced Spurs or Portland team that sneaks in there. OKC should be there at 7th unless they trade CP3.

I think we can get 2nd still. That's still completely up in the air...but if we don't we just have to know it'll be tough. Being 3rd right now gets you Dallas, have fun! 6 really good teams in the West right now so I'm just resigned to realizing the playoffs are going to be a war this year.

Should be fun at least...until next year when GSW pulls some BS and gets another superstar player to add to their suddenly healthy team.

CP3 didn't iso as much also. He did dominate the ball but it was different from how Harden dominates the ball. CP3 would use picks to attack and probe the defense around the mid range area and constantly move around while dribbling. This also forced the Rockets role players to move off ball in tandem with where CP3 was probing.

I’m going to say something that’s going to sound crazy on here, but actually believe the guys on our team could actually do more if giving the chance.

Maybe you can...maybe you cant, but I know for certain, I'm way less of a homer than you are a hater.....you certainly arent objective. You can even see me criticize Harden tonight, he got locked up by Brooks and thats why we lost in addition to our soft SOFT defense. I prolly defend Mike more than anyone else and thats because no one actually knows the inner working of coaching here and we've had success.

Iso may not have been the correct word but CP3 definitely dominated many a possession when he was in his prime here. But that's the past and CP3 is gone. It's time for this team to figure out how they are going to improve the current roster. The first thing is to get some consistency in the coaching staff and bring in better individual defenders and forward players.

Dantoni is known for a lack of practice sessions and shoot arounds. This team just doesn't practice any offensive sets besides iso dribble.

Plenty of losses like this in every season. But then the Rockets go on a 15 game win streak and people forget all about it. Yes, it would be nice to win all 82 games, but that's not doable.
