I like the way that how you got pissed, and then telling yourself that everything is going to be ok.

That’s exactly how the Texans get a long waiting list on the season tickets and how BoB will keep his job forever.

Yeah, it's really not that big of a deal right now. If it were the last week of the season and we knew this loss would put us 5th seed instead of being 2nd, then sure. But right now it's just losing to a hot team while you rested your 2nd best player.

They, The Grizz, played better for the night.

I'm confused as to why we rested Russ tonight instead of playing him tonight as the Grizz are better than the Blazers right now and the Blazers defense is absolute garbage so some role player like Benmac or Hartenstein (if played) could go off...as we saw we really needed Russ tonight.

You are exactly right Cod. He needs help via a SF/PF player that can do more than just sit on the wing and shoot a set shot. Someone that can put it on the floor and make a play and/or finish at the rim. House Jr has shown he is just a back up wing not a starter. Ben is a backup.

I hope Morey can pull that rabbit out his hat this year, cause if not, we lose in the 2nd round.

Rockets lose these games all the time, even with CP3, and still almost beat the Warriors.

They simply do not play as sharp against lesser teams. It is what it is. It's more important to be healthy come playoff time than beat the Grizzlies in the middle of the season.

The era of MDA has to end. There is no way that a team that does not defend can compete for a championship. The defensive scheme of this team is a joke. And on the offensive side everything is limited to Harden and to throw three points.
MDA cannot continue to lead this team, the record against losing teams is alarming. Enough is enough.

    Over the last 6 games...

PJ is averaging 1.8 points per game.
House is averaging 5.2 points per game.

That's about 60 minutes per game of...nothing. Come on, man.

No. It's because his support is absolutely trash. You can tell tonight Harden was forcing up shots because his teammates were doing nothing. Harden was 6/8 and had 17 points in that first quarter.... and when he wasn't out there at the start of the 2nd quarter, we started to fall apart.... and then we're chasing the game after gifting them so many early points, which then leads to Harden forcing up shots to try and make things happen.

Was it just me or were the first 3 quarters reffed with a heavy forgiveness of what Memphis was doing and tight calls on Houston's defense?

As a supposed contender when you take care of business like you’re supposed to it’s business as usual. When you lose to a team that’s 3 games below .500 on National TV of course people are going to voice their concerns. Hate to break it to ya but not everyone is a Rockets white knight that ignores terrible play.

7 man rotation, no game management. I’m done with D’Antoni.

I don't even feel like watching basketball anymore because another team has to win. If there was a possibility that no team wins when my rockets lose then I'd watch.

Well, we lost to the Warriors.

If we got 2nd seed we still would have likely lost to the Warriors. At the end of the day the Rockets are going to be judged at how they play against the Lakers, Clippers, Nuggets, in a 7 game series. Sure, having a high seed would be nice, but they are at the point where it is as simple as either beating these teams or not. They can't run from the Lakers or Clippers, they are going to see them in the post season and will be judged then.

    Frustrating loss.

James is no longer able to put his scrub teammates on his back and win against shiit teams or young athletic teams.

Russ not being available for both games of a b2b is beyond annoying AF.

House bricking important 3 point shots

    Turnovers and crap defense

Just a bad week in Houston sports

Our offense is designed for Harden's teammates to do nothing.

Players can't develop a feel and rhythm just standing around watching one guy dribble on one spot of the court for 15-20 seconds every other possession.

Him and Rivers have been pretty much useless this season. Tucker is starting to go that way. McLemore is far too inconsistent.
