Don’t let your support for Bernie distort reality. Most of what you’re describing here is fantasy or just straight up incorrect.

I don't really support anyone. I just want whomever will win. If Warren / Bernies polling was swapped I would say the same thing but with Bernie dropping out.

Political science is mostly guesswork and these are my guesses.

If you want a candidate to throw their support for another candidate you definitely support someone.

I don't want them too, I just suspect since they are both progressives, they have stealing each others supporters. As I said, I would want the opposite if Bernie and Warrens polling was swapped.

I only want the field to be narrowed down to 2, progressives vs moderates. Which two I don't care.

"'Don't tell me it doesn’t matter': Impeachment trial hurts presidential campaigns. Democratic senators seeking the White House will be stuck in Washington rather than Iowa at a critical moment."

    excerpt:

. . . while the Massachusetts senator has said for months that “some things are more important than politics” — like impeachment — she now admits that with three weeks to go before the Iowa caucuses, there’s simply no substitute for being there.

“Of course it matters,” Warren said in an interview this week. “We just did a 3½-hour selfie line. Don’t tell me it doesn’t matter to do face to face.”

Warren getting desperate. The day before the January debate her people appear to be leaking details of a December 2018 conversation between Warren and Sanders in which Sanders allegedly said he didn’t believe a woman could win.

Yeah, I would still vote for her if she's the nominee but I like her less and less. Her claim that leading economists were "just wrong" was a real red flag for me in the last debate. And the "wine cave" thing was both silly and erroneous (on the numbers).

It’s shaping up to be an interesting debate tomorrow night.

-Bernie and Warren finally taking the gloves off
-Last chance for people to go after Pete before Iowa
    -Klobuchar’s last stand
-A chance for Biden to emerge as the adult in the room if everyone else is squabbling
-Iran topic being front and center

Warren's desperate gambit to play the victim and defame Sanders smacks of Hillary's crying to win the New Hampshire primary in 2008, only this is far more sinister. And she clearly has allies in the media willing to go along.

Lost a lot of respect for Warren not outright dismissing the report that Bernie said that a woman can't be president.

No one believes Bernie would say such a thing. She should have immediately denied the CNN article as soon as it came out but she didn't and feed into the it by saying it's over with and she doesn't mind it.

Not sure that's what was said .... A woman cant win in 2020 is a far cry from a woman cant be president.

I think that may well be the case , a woman probably cant win - there are only 2 left , Warren fading and the other never really got much traction in Klobuchar and she was my favorite of the Dem candidates , Yeah Tulsi's still hanging around .... but can you take her seriously having never broken 2% ?

maybe that's because her campaign leaked it (and that it was true in 2016)

    She confirmed it:

    https://www.cnn.com/2020/01/13/politics/warren-sanders-2020/index.html

"Among the topics that came up was what would happen if Democrats nominated a female candidate," Warren said of the meeting with Sanders in a news release Monday night. "I thought a woman could win; he disagreed."

Bernie's people also moving from pure denial to trying to sort of explain it away: (Weaver is a Sanders advisor)

"I think their wires are crossed," Weaver said. "I think there was a discussion about Trump, misogyny, sexism in politics, and the difficulty of running in the era of Trump for women, the special challenges that women face in the era of Trump. But those conversations can sometimes get misconstrued, Chris."

Bernies campaign manager said it was a lie... Warren says its true... nobody knows who is telling the truth... doesn’t look good for either imo.

Warren doing this helps chumps like Biden and Mayo Pete. I cannot believe she would do this. Now progressive supporters of Warren and Bernie are at each others throats. This is no good.

I thought Warren was a more pragmatic progressive, but she has no campaign sense. To the DNA test, to backing off M4A and now this. smh.

So much for that Bernie/Warren ticket..
