Why is everyone's response "fire Bill O'Brien" anytime something goes poorly? How about firing DeAndre Carter for fumbling and giving them a ball within in the redzone? How about firing Lonnie Johnson for his inability to cover Kelce? I know the fake punt call was a bad one, but you can't put all of this on him. The guy has called a pretty good game, and he's done what everyone has b****ed at him for not doing all season long--being aggressive. I don't think the guy is a great coach. Far from it. But let's give credit where it's due. The whole ****ing team sucked that second quarter. There's plenty of blame to go around.
stop the Texans won’t be doing anything with BoB...he’s gotta go this dude is a Kevin McHale wasting a young James Harden
Who gives a damn about perspective. Elite teams and organizations don’t squander 24-point leads in a quarter. All this shows is the Texans are who everyone thought they were. They do not have the mental fortitude and coaching to sustain prosperity against other elite teams. They very well may come back and win, but this is looking like the Oilers-Bills part two, except the Texans managed to let the Chiefs come all the way back in much less time.
I truly appreciate the positive energy you are attempting to bring, but sadly this is not the same with the way they have regained the momentum. I have no faith in BOB.
I will be on Kirby tonight.. Not sure in what state of mind... Either I'm burning a blunt or burning a jersey... But I'll be there!
Frustrating for sure. You do not allow a home team momentum by stopping you on 4th down. The thing is this is not why you fire BoB. He's done far worse than this.
That second quarter was crazy. Couldn't stop anything. Reminded me of the end of the Patriots game...
