So I was off by 10pts on the margin...

the NBA is still rigged. Rockets handing out other teams' Super Bowl victories on their home courts like we're Santa Claus. Everyone hates us, so best gift the NBA can give a **** team's fans is to have their team blow us out on their home court, one night a year. You're welcome OKC and Golden State: now you get to see the rest of the season where your team is irrelevant.

I know all the arguments for CP3 being better than Westbrook. I know all the evidence that Tillman is a bad owner. Still, amidst all the logic, is a nagging voice inside my head that says that we still escaped a sinking ship in "Regular Season False Gold" Chris Paul. When teams aren't focused, CP3 is the guy who is playing hard 100% of the time and can take advantage of mental mistakes and general fatigue that occurs over the course of 82 games. In the playoffs, his inability to get past his man or stay in front of his man on defense is still going to become a massive liability. We had to get out from his contract one way or another. The smart, Moreyball way would have been to bring him back for the first two months of the 2019 season, show off his talents, slap some lipstick on that pig, and then trade him to Miami or Philly for positive value. Instead, we treated him as a negative asset and are now down 2 firsts and 2 swaps. We could even have pulled the Westbrook trade off if we just waited a bit longer, and given way less in draft capital. Anyways, it is what it is, we are still 99% not winning the championship this year because the NBA is a rigged entertainment product and I can predict outcomes like the one today.

Don't bet on the Rockets kids, when it's an away game, the other team sucks and hasn't beaten us yet this year, and it's on anything but local TV.

    Lmao

What I said most in recent years:

    1. Harden is choker in playoffs
    2. MDA is a horrible coach.

After many years, you guys still can’t prove me wrong! Stop being delusional homers. Anyone said Rockets negative is hater?Lol. Ridiculous!

Good win. I’m still all in this year. I believe we are in the top 4 contenders. Lakers, clippers, bucks, rockets.

Lol at Harden being a choker in the playoffs. You're just going by the narrative. He's had way more good games than bad games in the playoffs. The only really bad games I remember him having were against the Spurs.

Let's compare his stats to Kobe in the playoffs:

As you see, they're not much different. One player had much better support in the playoffs and the other didn't. But I bet you think Kobe is clutch and Harden is still a choker.

Watch out, Pete can be touchy when presented with truth.

Just sick of this crap of Harden not performing in the playoffs. Yes, he played badly against the Spurs one year. But I think he gets a pass for all those other years. He's been averaging over 26 points a game since he joined the Rockets in the playoffs. As I said, he's had way more good games than bad games in the playoffs.

He was great last year. And he's been really unlucky to come up against an OP Warriors team and a super stacked Spurs team for most part. Let's be honest here, his support has been pretty average for the most part. CP3 did well, but even he was injured a lot. Westbrook is the first real superstar to play next to Harden that's still in his prime.

Give me the best playoffs you think Harden ever played! Last season against Warriors? He even forgot how to play the ball with Durant missed the game due to injury.

Aside from the turnovers, I'm dang glad Harden is back from that horrible last 6 quarters of play. I think he is so consistently great year after year that we forget he's human too.

Secret's out, Harden's footwork is attributed to salsa dancing lessons.

Give players confidence, minutes and expand the rotation and good things happen, who knew...

A true contender (not a pretender) has to be at least top 10 in offense and defense. Also, our road record isn't very good.

Those three teams could use that logic as well. Clippers blew a 20+-point lead. Bucks choked some big leads and come back from big deficits plenty of times as well. Rockets don't control their own fates.

RoCo is super overrated people here in CF building him up and would turn on him the moment he lands on the squad like Thabo, Chandler, House, Cp3 etc

Dude is ok but isn't a savior, he wont be stopping guys like Lebron or Kawhi.
