Intriguing find. Essentially a 6'8 center (7'2 wingspan). Think Faried but all defense, little offense, some rebounding.

    Wooten's vert is crazy.

I would sign him to 10 day at very least.

Trading for Covington makes too much sense for Rockets but do we have anything that Minny wants?

This kid makes me think of stromile swift once played for us 2005-2006

Even if we signed this g league monster, mda would not used him and kept him nailed the bench

    Think Jordan Bell, but better.

Could be a similar player that Rockets coveted during offseason, Kevon Looney.

I wanted Rockets to draft or sign his teammates in offseason, Bol Bol and 6'8 do it all wing Louis King (on 2 way with Pistons).

Stromile Swift would have played Clint Capela role in MDA system. Swift had 7-3 or 7-4 wingspan with Shawn Kemp like hops and nastiness.

Celtics Robert Williams has been compared to both Stromile Swift and Clint Capela.

    Except Timelord has 7-6 wingspan.

Not only amazing shot blocker (7-2 wingspan + 40 inch vert) but Wooten also a very good switch defender.

If Faried could play D, he would still be on the Rockets.

I would sign Wooten. 10 day is no risk.

Would benefit from working with Dream on keeping those blocks in play for his team.

With Clint playing lame on B2B, I think he does.

Clint needs rest or that heel will be a problem in post season.

Stro probably would've sucked on this team, too, because like JVG said, Stro didn't love the game.

Odd fact : Stro and Dan Langhi were SEC co-players of the year the same year.

JVG was the wrong coach for Stro, the guy was at his best in transition but Van Gundy hated to run, everything with him was half court, slow and grinding.
