House hasn't been the same since he got that 3 year deal in the summer. He's been so inconsistent this season that we can't rely on him. I can already tell he's going to be awful in the playoffs.

Another player lacking consistency this season is Tucker. He does put in the effort and whatnot, but I feel his overall performances have been inconsistent.

It's pointless having Rivers here. He's done absolutely nothing this season. He had a good 2 month spell last season, but he's been pretty awful this season.

Players like McLemore, Clark, Rivers, House and Clemons are never going to put in consistent performances.

Gordon can put in some strong performances, but he can also put in some horrible performance. Good player, but never can consistently carry a team. He's also been getting quite a few injuries the past few seasons.

We can't rely on Hartenstein. He's far too young and inexperienced to make a difference. I'm pretty certain that in a few years he'll be a good starter, but for the moment he shouldn't be considered as a starter.

Capela has been good for most of the season, but he's just far too limited for our style of play. He also does seem to struggle against the taller and stronger centers in the league.

Westbrook has been good for the most part this season, but I find he's pretty easy to guard if you back off him. Just protect the paint and let him shoot the ball. His shooting has been declining since 2017.

This is the reality of Harden's support. It just hasn't been good enough since he joined the Rockets. It's actually a miracle we've even been to conference finals. The main reason we have been..... Harden. MDA is so lucky to have had him. He's an average coach getting praised because Harden has carried him all these years. Yeah, I know Harden hasn't shot well for his last 6 quarters or so, but he's having an excellent season once again. He's pretty much carrying us.

We should have lost to the Hawks last game (worst team in the NBA), we just got blown out by an average team like OKC.... we also got blown out by the 2nd worst team (the Warriors). Having defeats like this are unacceptable and make me lose even more confidence that we'll struggle to get to the 2nd round of the playoffs, which will then lead us getting whitewashed in 2nd round. I don't see a title contended. If we do somehow make it to the finals, it'll be because Harden has gone into goat mode and carried us there.

Who else are we going to play when ego is out? Thabo is even worse. House at least has shown he is capable of playing much better than this. We just have to hope he comes out of this funk. He looks too indecisive lately. Tries to drive when he should shoot or shoot when he should pass. He is overthinking but we really do not have better options. Ben mac can't play the whole game.

Once you realise the Rockets aren't legitimate contenders this year, it makes these pathetic performances easier to stomach.

This team, with these players, can not win 16 games in the playoffs. Tilman needs to either sh#t, or get off the pot. Make a deal ot two, or gut this team. This team is Fools Gold.

any intel on some forward help for the good guys @Codman
Add the coach to it as well. Over-reliance on one player isn't it. Also we need some starting caliber forwards. We have bench players starting.

We need a replacement big time. We need a REAL stretch 4, and not House or EGO for defense. Let EGO, McLemore and Clemons back up James and Russ. House hesitates on shooting, doesn't have a big wingspan, and is inexperienced. He isn't that good on either end of the court..

    Although Kobe is retired,
I bet Harden’s list still much longer than this.

@napalm06 is right. We have way too much money tied up in the Center and Guard slots. I figured this would happen when both CP3 and Capela came up for extensions at the same time. Because of this our forwards are weak. We just don't have enough talent there. We should be able to count on those positions to give us at last 25-30 pts a night with 20-25 boards but we can't.

Y'all are still overreacting like you do to every loss. When the Lakers lose, it seems like their supporting cast is pure garbage also. We do need to add a forward, but we will be fine guys damn

Does the star player on that team have severe defencies in their game that warrant criticism?

Why does he get stuck on screen so much, it's like every time there's a screen he's falling towards the half court

Lakers fans worry less also because they are led by a superstar that usually ramps up their production and efficiency in the playoffs.

We need starting-caliber players at both forward slots, to be honest, but the priority is out on the wing. Both House and PJ need to be coming off the bench.

Erm, the kid himself attributes a lot of his growth and maturity to this point to CP.

a bench consists of rivers, thabo, clemons, Ihart, bmac, nene, green. a bunch of guys that don't play or won't ever see the court as a rocket this season. house is showing he cannot be productive in big minutes over a long haul. yeah rockets are fine. keep these same guys to support an older banged up core who play big minutes
