I missed the game tonight bc I’m in Mexico. Does anyone know why Hartenstien only played 4 minutes? He was plus three and Len played 23 minutes off of the bench for the Hawks. Seems like it would’ve been a pretty good match up for Hartenstien.
It's the chicken or the egg dilemma. Is MDA coaching the team like this because it's his game plan and he's lazy or is it because he believes this is the only style Harden is willing to play and is comfortable with?
He's talking about the minutes Clint was on the bench. Dantoni ran a lot of small ball tonight with PJ at center.
I love the 22/22/2/2 game by Clint. I’ve been on the Capela bandwagon for awhile now. Just goes to show how misleading a +/- can be as he was a minus 10.

I agree. PJ is getting run into the ground this regular season. His strength is his motor. That motor isn't going to exist in the playoffs if he keeps on playing these heavy minutes every game in the regular season.
I think we have already started to see the effects of too many minutes for PJ by his lackluster shooting this season. Hopefully they can get the guy some help/rest before the playoffs.
And he should be playing less than 30 at his age during the regular season especially when his game revolves around being a high motor grind out player who exerts a lot of energy and absorbs a lot of contact on defense and hustle. And PJ could if Dantoni trusted Hartenstein more to pay back up center rather than playing small ball so often.
You know jack ****, you pull the arbitrary 30 minutes out of your ass? I agree that Tucker needs help but you are a know nothing otherwise you would realize that 34 mins is great considering PJ was averaging almost 37 the last 10 games. You thinking you know more than Mike D'Antoni, Darryl Morey and James Harden combined is laughable.

Finished on dvr just now. Capela, PJ Thick, and Eric Gordon are why we snuck out with the W Harden had a bad shooting night (incl at charity line) but ends up with a 41 point triple double! Only Oscar Robertson has more 40 pt trip dubs. (Oscar 22 vs 15 beard and 12 Westbrook; Wilt(7) and ‘Bron (6). Beard has more than double Wilt and Westbrook is double lebron!!!!) Russ haters can’t hate on number of Russ’s shots!!! They can hate on Harden now!
We ALL would love to see the team get rings. But, you are setting yourself up for a LOT of disappointment and frustration and it shows. Only 1 team gets the ring so chances are limited. Not to say it CAN'T happen, but no team has a 90% shot. Every team but 1 is going to have to deal with disappointment. Sometimes you just have to enjoy the journey along the way. If you're ONLY interested in the ring, then perhaps you should only tune in and join the GARM during the playoffs. You won't have to concern yourself with the minutiae of the regular season like tonight's game. Still came out as a W, helping our standings (and playoff position for a run at a ring) But apparently some games are unsuitable for some viewers and should have a 'rating' much like the 'R' rating for movies. This one was rated 'U' for ugly, so you could save yourself from watching it and losing sleep. But the REAL games for the ring don't truly start until April. Maybe you should check out until then? EVERYONE may benefit from that.
