Haha. Was just about to say the same thing. This stat is meaningless because more than half those games we had a big lead but managed to squander that into a “clutch” situation.
In other words: who cares that Chris Paul is having a good season in crunch time? Frankly in terms of total (not average) production, we lost nothing in the trade, and Westbrook is a few years younger with one extra year on his contract. Not to mention the intangible value of having someone on the team who Harden can confide in, take direction from, lean on for creating points more often.
Why would a ORtg/DRtg Net rating when your starters/closers are on the court EVER be a meaningless stat, much less in the last 5 minutes of a close game. That would be like saying a Net rating in the 1st 5 minutes of games is meaningless, too.
