He probably gets another year with the excuse that this time he'll let the Off Coordinator do his job and he'll pick another chicken **** super conservative bland OC that's a mirror of how he would call the game anyway.
Down less than 2 touchdowns, it’s technically not over, but O’Brien has to adjust and I’m not sure if he can. The effort has been embarrassing. The team has to want it too, so they all share in the blame as far as I’m concerned. This **** show is a team effort.
the Texans are an old, ashy burger from BK, but the city views them as 1 of the finest of steaks...it’s a joke
It’s not just Cal. Check out the person above him. https://www.houstontexans.com/team/front-office-roster/
Allen has hardly faced any rush at all though and when he has he usually has at least come out of his drop before protection breaks down. Our guys are getting beat as soon as the ball is snapped, or they're getting pushed right into him before he even gets his feet set.
If there's no turnaround in this 2nd half, the most discouraging thing is there really isn't any path towards drastic positive change. It will be the same owner empowering the same coaching staff without any checks in the system, and somehow we're supposed expect different results??

I’m in the camp that they actually have really good talent. It’s just so so poorly coached. why do I think this? Because they do make the playoffs regularly. It’s not because of coaching. Also because you can see them when they’re good, even against good teams, and they’re good. but when they come out with the same dumb play calling as always and complete lack of strategy they look bad.
Nope. Tim Kelly will be the scapegoat and Romeo will “retire.” 9 lives Obie lives to see another day.
