I like how amped he gets on the bench when we play well. He was waving his towel toward Harden when he was hitting all those clutch threes in the fourth to try to cool him down because he was on fire.
The narrative that he is a solid 3 point shooter needs to stop. He wasn’t a good 3 point shooter in the G-League and he isn’t right now either. Maybe someday. Defensively you will get killed with him and Capela on the floor together 90% of the time.
Faried was likely the worst defensive player in the NBA last year. There was a strong reason we didn’t play him. When MDA says a players defense is too bad to play, you know it is REALLY bad. He has some physical and match up limitations that will keep him from being what some hope. However in fairness to him, Embid is an incredibly hard match up for 95% of the centers in the NBA.

This statement, as well as MDA, is likely so much out of touch with reality, we could soooo use Faried last year and this year....
All we need to ask for him is to spare Capela 12 minutes a game, I thought he did well and even played against Embiid for a few minutes.
I don't think it was that rough Embiid is not a nothing player Basically. We only need him at most 20 minutes a game So ...his 11 minutes were well played Rocket River
