Why? Just because someone thinks something is going to happen doesn't mean they should make dumb decisions. They'd be literally giving up free money for no reason when they can make that same bet elsewhere and win more money.
its not a dumb decision. if you're so sure something is going to happen then back it up. no matter what side you're on. if you're not so sure then just present it that way. not everyone is tapped into the gambling world. don't expect them to be
It IS a dumb decision. Let's say I believe the BIlls will win. I have two choices if I want to "back it up": A. I can bet $100 with King1 and win $100 if I'm right. B. I can bet $100 with a sportsbook and win $140 if I'm right. Why the **** would I ever pick option A? That's extraordinarily stupid.
it isn't if you're not in the gambling world. you're speaking as if everyone understands odds and being able to bet with sportsbooks. a significant chunk of people on this site have no idea what you're even talking about
... and that's why it's stupid. If you don't understand betting, you shouldn't be betting. King1 is trying to scam people who don't know better.
lol. i mean friendly wagers are hardly anything to get this worked up about. unless you're doing big money and have no idea what odds are I'd say this is harmless action
Sure, it's harmless to the scammer. King1 can hedge his bet and guarantee he can never lose money. Some unsuspecting person will always be worse off. I don't see that as harmless. If you think it's cool to take advantage of people who don't know better, I just think that makes you a shitty person, though. Scarface was even worse - not only offering 1:1 odds, but repeatedly giving everyone the same thing (him leaving). It's like betting the same $100 with a bunch of people but only paying out one of them if you lose.
lol honestly i doubt they even considered any of this or were even aware. but they can chime in if they choose. I took their intentions differently than you
No. 3 days...please. If he wants to be forever, on both sides? SURE. Be man and take it. But he won't. He is a p***y, like most of you O'Brien haters.
Why does anyone who thinks the Texans may lose (they actually may lose) be an O'Brien hater? And to the contrary, can't people who think the Texans may win (they actually may win) also be an O'Brien hater? I don't like O'Brien (I don't hate him). And I think over the course of the first 15 games, I probably thought they would lose 5 or 6 times. So, what does that make me?
What a stupid ****ing thread. I think the bills will win but I don’t want them to win. Why would I want to penalize myself if something good happens? seems like op just wants attention.
