He will ONLY get better as the game slows down for him - he should be the backup C now......he is a big that can move - not a finished product but he is only 20 years old so let's get him some burn - and maybe one day he can learn to shoot the 3ball too. DD
He deserves to play 15 minutes a night behind Capela. He’s made big strides since he has been drafted. His trajectory is very similar to Capela’s.
Agree it's crazy he isn't seeing the court much at all and we go with that small ball lineup and continue to burn PJ out who has not shot the ball well and been lost the last few 4th qtrs at times likely from exhaustion> Hart can't be trusted for entire games but for 15-20 mins he's going to be a good option for spelling Clint and possibly even for PJ for 5-7 of those mins
He looked pretty good tonight considering he hasn’t got a lot of NBA run but we all know once we get healthy it’s back to the regularly scheduled programming of Pringles 7 man rotation.
He just needs time so that the game slows down for him . He is hustling his butt off, but rushing things a little bit too Major concerns over his switching defence. Looks lost against the little guys. Probably why he can't get minutes?
“meaningful” minutes. This was a meaningless game. Honest mistake on your part. I’ve made the same mistake previously. Just learn from it and move on.
I think he is getting some ticky tack fouls . . .which are because he is young/new/rookie status I think he when straight up and the players just rammed into him . . he did not get the foul but it should have been charges,. He boxes out well. He hustles and fights. He had some good blocks. I think he is good. Definitely worth 15~20 minutes a game. Rocket River
yeah I agree. He can be a key bench guy. Plays hard and has a lot of energy. His defenses lapses in high pick and rolls and guarding perimeter is prob what keeps him out the rotation.
improving defensively will only happen by getting playing time. i haven't seen much of his play but he looks more than serviceable offensively and according to most here seemingly holds a god deal of potential. if we want any chance whatsoever at a sustained playoff run it isn't going to happen by running guys like PJ into the ground during the regular season.
He brings more energy than Chandler and has a decent floater and can sometimes make difficult shots near the rim. Other than that, the dude still has a loooong way to go to contributing to a championship team. We really need to improve this bench. Otherwise, we're out before conference finals.
Took long enough. Thank you. Don’t look to pull him for each and every mistake. Just let him play and develop.
Exactly. He is only 21, and has so much potential. I'm still waiting for him to get up his confidence to start taking some 3's.
