How long are the Rockets gonna keep this dude? He’s had plenty of opportunities to show what he can do and he hasn’t made much progress since being drafted. Dude is a turnover waiting to happen and weak playing around the basket. This is Joe Chi all over again. Actually, I thought Chi was better since he was a good shot blocker. This guy doesn’t offer anything.
Did NOT like to see James slide like that play Maclemore having a trash ass game . Put in Clark . If Clark sucked for 20 mins I’d want to try a different player
He played well mixed with a few mistakes and was rushing his shot. Seems to me that he could some of that out with consistent playing time and could certainly be an above average big off the bench.
when his contract is up, he'll be signed by Mark Cuban. Mavprick likes stealing our decent white player
w/ 8 man rotations, it's a nice W. im thinking under Rick Adelman system, maybe, big man from europe like Hartenstein would play a bigger role. thats a systematic way to promote ball and player movement through smart reads, multiple players are involved in just about every possession, which keeps offenses humming and every player happy.
Inexperience. This is from a lack of playing time This is why he needs more consistent time Rocket River
I don't know if tonight was the night to make this thread. But overall, it's sink or swim time with Hartenstein & Clark. They have nothing left to prove in the G League. See what they got or move on. I don't think they'll be the next Covington or Harrell or pick an ex-Rocket ("OMG, why did we release them?!", "OMG, why didn't Mike play him/them?!", 3-5 years from now "Rockets seriously interested in Isaiah Hartenstein/Gary Clark") but you don't know what you got until you see them so see what they got and either great, they're capable rotation pieces or move on and stop wasting roster spots.
I think he should start next game I think he got some ticky tack fouls based on being treated like a rookie more than anything I liked what he does. . . He should be our #2 Center . . . not Chandler Rocket River
Hartenstein plays well enough to be a back up every time he plays and still MDA refuses to play him. What exactly does MDA expect from him?
It’s a completely different speed, there’s levels within levels people. Let the kid play, the game will slow down for him with time.
