Even though we won, I honestly can't see how this team goes far in the playoffs. We all know the stronger teams are just going to double team Harden at half court and force the other players to make their shots, which doesn't happen that much.
PJ and Bmac were god awful tonight, the fact that PJ literally can't gte more than 6 mins rest a game is wrecking the dude, thankfully Rivers stepped up and Harty had some nice contributions, otherwise this team is a mess when it comes to dudes that can hit wide open ***** ugh
We shot 42 three point attempts tonight. It seemed like more. We're now 13-3 when we shoot less than 45 three point attempts. I would like to see us get those attempts down below 40 a night.
We shot poorly and still won by 10 against a +.500 team. You guys got to stop with this sky is falling non sense. I love the double teams because it is going to make us better in the long run. Trouble is I only recall one game where the double was used against Harden that the rest of the team has been able to step up, and that was the Raptors game, if anyone else can name one I'll eat crow but I just can't recall any that this piss poor cast of shooters has really stepped up when they had to... I'll concede that worrying about peaking in Dec is legit but losing games you had a sizable lead in has happened way too many times so far and it hurts us in the seedings but whatever
Clearly the league has integrated Morey Ball/Analytics so it's not as threatening anymore...other teams can run it just as good if not better than the Rox now aside from the Warriors when healthy. It's not "unique" or original anymore if you don't have the talent level to consistently play it then what's the point. It's only threatening on a consistent basis if you have the players to pull it off game in and game out EG is the X Factor
