Seriously. How can you look at that number of wide open bricks, and your first thought be " that damn MDA"? The shooters hold no responsibility? Mob mentality is taking over Clutchfans.

Who cares it's just one regular season loss. Hit the open shots next time.

We've been playing well for the last little bit, bound to lose one of these days

Dude, this wasn’t “The Warriors.” This was Draymond Green and a bunch of scrubs.

And, yes, we just got clowned by a bunch of scrubs.

Yea most of them were Westbrook poor decision making. If it wasnt sustainable why did we beat multiple teams who've tried this on us, Toronto included. Wanna know how Ben and Rivers did in that game? Whatever man, its ridiculous that NBA players cant hit wide open looks, im not hearing any of your like should be doing this and that stuff.

Why should Harden try to force it when dude's our getting good looks??? Yea yea...sure man, weve heard it all before. Like I said, Harden was really bad on defense today, be mad at him for that, he was straight garbage.

Can't beat GS without Durant in the playoffs, why not lose without him, Curry, and Klay in the regular season.

Rockets effort was non-existent from tipoff. They thought they had the game won when they exited the bus. The only reason we were winning at halftime was we made shots. Second half the shots stopped falling.

This is good positive energy, and probably the most reasonable take. It’s hard to sweep a road trip. They just played bad today. It happens, but unfortunately it was on national TV. FWIW, the almighty Bucks also played like garbage today.

Because he is by far and a way the best shooter on this team? Seems like a useful skill to use to mix with some off ball movement when they decide to double you on isos.

The whole point is to confuse defenses. Harden running around with his gravity will confuse defense resulting in them making more mistakes rather than just stand there.

in a game where all you need is effort to spank your opponent, all the effort players were left on the bench. Gary, Hartentstein and Clemons could have missed the same shots and would have been happy to hustle back to keep their spot on the team. Let Harden, Russ, PJ and Clint rest. It's so dumb.

hello... they have no bench bc of tilman. not mda.
any other coach wouldn't even have given a chance to mclemore. guess what, he actually developed into a role player for houston. austin rivers, same deal. how is it mda's fault for not developing a bench when they haven't had a single draft pick the past 3 years. they have 3 undrafted players on the bench and 2 over the hill guys near 40 yrs old. that's mda's fault? really? do u not see what happens when the starters sit? rockets have the highest net rating amongst starting 5 rotations... and one of the worst in terms of any other lineups. how would u feel playing players that probably wouldn't even be in the league?

i know clint was overextended last game against the kings but that was the same day hartenstein was playing for the vipers. what is mda supposed to do? and it's not like rockets were blowing out the kings either.

mda is here for the offense. that's why the rockets hire defensive assistants to manage that side of the ball. if the defense sucks.. that's on turner.

this is tilman's fault. not a fire d'antoni situation. stop blaming d'antoni for a lack of resources when we have an owner who won't spend during our window to contend.

you're right westbrick/mclemore/etc deserve plenty of blame. but they were missing for 3 quarters. WTF was the head coach watching during this time? even w/ the refs extreme bias this game, pringles still had a huge talent advantage to work with -- and he did absolutely nothing. how hard is it to run screen curls for our shooters at the elbows or have house run loop cuts to the basket? if something obviously isn't working for multiple quarters you don't just concede victory to worrier b****es, you try something else. that is his fukin job

All great players got double teamed most of the time.

But no great players were just standing at the mid court and let your opponents come to you and then pass the ball away but kept standing there and care for nothing.

Just when you think the team might figure it out, they had a game like this...
    absolutely pathetic.

Good (and accurate) take. Enough negative energy. It’s Christmas! Let’s move on, be merry, and hope for a good rest of the season!

It just baffles me that people defend this. This style is used because of pure laziness. Running around off the ball requires more energy and effort.

This is also a game Kenneth Faried could've helped us. We needed energy & didn't get it. But I guess Morey's calculator made a decision not to retain him
