Yeah I get that, and I did say I miss him, I just want to see him in action, I expect him to come back rusty af though, might take him a few games to start firing but if he does, and it's likely he will, he'll solve a big problem for us, I still think we might need 1 more piece.

We would have been up 30 if Clint was making his layups. Not too worried about that.

We had two guys in the 40s, one played 39 and harden played 37. That’s a lot of minutes. I want to believe that’s all good, but it seems like too many minutes to me.

Anyone know the all-time PPG record for a duo ??

I imagine Wilt plus (insert teammate).

Kobe and Shaq did 60 one season (finished 1st and 2nd in scoring).

Harden and Broadie are currently 63.

You really don't want to know but suffice it to say same ol' Rockets D and same ol disappearing act with the O that seems to mysteriously happen in games we have big leads in. I guess we have to play the rest of our games trailing by 15-25 at half for us to be challenged enough to play well (and hard)

When MDA is the coach 40 is the new 30...glad for the win though this is a game the Rox easily lost early in the season.

WB continues to impress much to the chagrin of the Cp3 crowd.

Two weeks ago in Houston, the Kings beat the Rockets by one point on Nemanja Bjelica’s buzzer-beating three-pointer from over 30 feet away.

On Monday, the Rockets (21-9) got their revenge in Sacramento.

Led by efficient nights of 34 points on 10-of-19 shooting (52.6%) from James Harden and 28 points on 10-of-22 shooting (45.5%) by Russell Westbrook, the Rockets built a big lead Monday night before surviving a valiant comeback attempt by the home team in the fourth quarter to escape with a 113-104 victory (box score).

Westbrook also collected seven rebounds and six assists in his 40 minutes, including a team-leading figure of +19 in the plus/minus. Harden added five rebounds, five assists, and two steals in his 38 minutes.

Russell Westbrook credits better hand health for recent surge
Doc Rivers on Rockets, Westbrook: 'We forget the other MVP'

It’s the fourth consecutive win for the Rockets and the team’s 10th in 13 games, keeping them at No. 3 in the Western Conference standings and only a half-game back of Denver (21-8) for the No. 2 spot.

Chamberlain and Arizin averaged over 72 the season Wilt averaged 50 in a season (1961-62).
After that, I think would have to be Kobe and Shaq in 2002-03 where Kobe averaged 30 and Shaq 27.5.
Durant and Westbrook also averaged over 50 in a season.

But that Chamberlain/Arizin combo is going to be tough to top. Even if Harden averaged 40 ppg, Russ would have to average at least 32. BTW, that was the year Chamberlain averaged over 48 minutes per game and attempted 40 shots and 17 free throws per game. He averaged 50 points and 26 rebs per game. lol. :D

Rockets win 4 consecutive while the Lakers lose 3. We're only 3 losses behind them and one behind #2 (DEN). We're only one ahead of #4 and 5, but one team is load-managing and the other has its best player injured.

it's insane how different the Rockets look when Westbrook is hitting his shots

I still think we have some problems defensively that Morey can address if Tilman is willing to pay the lux tax but offensively we look great compared to 5 games ago. I guess those injuries really impacted Westbrook early in the season.

The records Wilt’s connected to should probably be put in a separate section of the record book under “Wilt’s Records.” The expression “man among boys” is overused, but it fits Chamberlain during a stretch of his career. What he did will never be equaled, in my opinion, so why lump him in with everyone else?

Glad we took care of business. The Kings are annoyingly feisty.

Loved those 2 beautiful Harden dimes - you know which 2 I'm talking about- dayum!

The over back call on Harden was bs - it was tipped by the Kings.

The steal and pass to Westbrook who drained a 3 from the corner- delicious!

Glad cap was able to play.

    Good win overall!

    Go rox!
