It's kind of crazy when Christian leadership advocates for Christian principles and that makes news. What is even crazier are the so-called Christians who will openly reject that call for Christian principles and claim to do so in the name of God.

"evengelicals" complaining all of a sudden are just never Trumper corporate neocons with religious ties laying seeds for getting some senators like Romney in a tizzy about removal... timing is suspect. Screw that base.

Yep. I’ve said that before. He’s not the Devil but he certainly isn’t King Solomon, Cyrus, a baby Christian or any other rationalization that Evangelicals want to make. This is the same guy that hawked Trump Vodka even though he doesn’t drink.

I find it remarkable that no matter how many angles Trump is attacked, people still come to his defense. He hasn’t done anything for an existing religion, rather, he has his own cult following

Or maybe it’s just that some Christians just care about morals and stuff. You obviously have no problem with So-Called Christians defying separation of church and state to speak out in support of Trump at all costs, but you have a problem with them speaking out against a president who makes Bill Clinton look like Mother Teresa. Maybe it’s you who is the hypocrite here just maybe.

Separation of church and state was put into our laws to protect religion FYI because of this very type of comment and way of thinking people would develop if religious leaders became tied to the state like so many have in the Trump era. Not sure if you care about Christianity at all, but if you are a Christian, comments like this are actually an attack on the very religion you might even care about. You should speak out about getting ALL region out of politics. Not selectively chastising religious leaders who do not bow to the supreme leader as if he is above Jesus himself.

Trumps use of religion to prop himself up is the definition of Taking the Lords Name in Vein.

When the Bible says that taking the Lords name in vein is an abomination, it’s not talking about saying GD when you slam your pinky in the door. It’s talking about someone claiming divine intervention to prop themselves up for their own gain. Exactly what Trump has been doing with religion for some time now.
