Everyone sucks at reading here. I said “ we gotta make adjustments.” It’s halftime, harden needs to look at few defensive clips and look at some quick adjustments.

 

Lol, they arent doing anything special Harden is just missing.

 

No I think what he is saying is when Harden isn't scoring well, he is like a small snowball rolling down a snowy hill and rapidly increasing in size. He shuts himself down. He stops moving his feat and doesn't play a lick of defense. Other star players when their offensive game isn't working they find other ways to score, they still try on defense and they don't resort to just yelling and complaining at refs the whole game.

Harden gets easily frustrated. Its just a core essense of him as Rocket fans we have gotten use to.

Harden frustrated is like me on lsd when a bad trip happens and I just can't get out of it and it just gets drastically worse.

 

Defense has always been an afterthought for MDA.

 

Clutchfans more negative about Rockets than TNT halftime crew.

 

Unfortunately I would be shocked. I don’t think it’s impossible, but when Vegas is paying out 9.25x you can’t assume you’re winning that bet.

100 % this !!! If the refs aren't bailing him out when he drives he locks up and just starts chucking the ball up,. I love Harden I really do, but he quits too easily when playing under adverse conditions to what he expects should happen, he's been invisible on defense, has been slow to get up the court when Russ takes off and is allowing a stellar defense to get set when he is trying to iso. Frustrating to watch when you see Russ, PJ, Clint, even Bmac trying hard to stay with the CLippers ... I see why a lot of star players aren't that interested in playing with James

 

Judging from the heat of this thread, I declare we are winning this god damn game.

 

Outcoached- probably. Overmatched- definitely.

They have more talent than us and they are playing with effort. We aren’t, except Westbrook. That guy never quits.

 

Well said. That's my biggest issue with him

 

I have Confidence in this team
The Rockets have been sluggish and missing some bunnies
The Clips have been hot and active. . and hit some amazing shots
I expect a comeback

The rockets are a waste of time and energy at this point.

 

Harden is in slow motion getting from one end of the court to the other. He isn't playing defense and simply looks worn out. How can he have 0 rebounds? I really wish MDA would leave him on the bench next half because he is gonna go into full blown selfish pig hero ball mode regardless of how he is shooting just to get his score up. MDA save us from the agony please. Morey, please get us a wing player to start over House.
