And not a word about Trump expanding “executive privilege” into “constitutional immunity”....And not a single word about abuse of power or sending Michael Cohen 2.0 to get political dirt...

It’s like your article doesn’t understand what’s going on....Or is too scared to argue the facts....

Typical of your ilk. Rear end still sore from the caning you took from me yesterday?

Indeed a very sad day for our country Nobody ever wants to impeach a president. You hillbillies should have thought about that when you voted for drumph. We will impeach him over and over again until the election results are reversed. If elected again, we will start the impeachment process again. Vote wisely morons.

I know you're being facetious, but election results are not being "undone." This doesn't remove two Supreme Court justices, undo tax cuts for the wealthy, unseat scores of federal judges or counteract any other legislation passed during this administration.

You can’t cheat even if you’re president. Especially trying to tamper with your upcoming election. Impeachment is the only remedy.

Rural areas and traditional rust belt manufacturing have been the winners in the 21st century and certainly under Trump!

Well worth giving executive power broad based constitutional immunity....

I do honestly, from a spin perspective applaud these two parts of Republican spin:
    • This is all just sour grapes, trying to undo the 2016 election. (Ignores behavior at center of proceedings, but that's "smart.")
    • Dems are in such a rush, due to politics, that's it's not thorough enough and it's "not fair." (Insert Os's favorite "not fair" gif, one I enjoy each time.)
Those are really good talking points, I mean politically versus logically, and they were on point a lot today from what I heard on the radio.

But if we're just being honest with each other here on the BBS, this is not about hillbillies. At some point, you have to ask yourself if this guy, our duly elected president (which 99.5% of people do NOT dispute, sorry) has: abused the power of his office, and/or obstructed a legal inquiry by a co-equal branch of government.

In BOTH cases, I think the evidence, presented in mounds (even if presented in fairly short order) says YES this duly elected president abused power and obstructed congress.

@Astrodome, we just don't hear conservatives ever talking about the president's behavior or if he is even the tiniest bit responsible for the events that follow his actions. I mean, you can say city slickers are offended by Trump (another, um, city slicker actually), but that should never mean he gets to rewrite the rulebook of our government. Never. Why is it the Dems fault whether they "like" him or not? Why should that fundamentally change the laws of our country? Cheers.

    Today poll information from Yahoo.com:

In a direct correlation, higher education levels yielded greater belief that Trump abused his power as president (58 percent) and should be impeached (55 percent) and removed from office (53 percent), whereas non-college-educated voters mostly believe Trump will not be impeached.
