That's a big plus when it means relying on your bench vs having another star on the court for that many games.
I don’t even think he’s been playing for stats in Houston. I think he’s trying way too hard to be unselfish when he drives, and I think he’s committed to winning with us, but he’s just stupid.
That trade was just a garbage in and out trade, it will have a little impaction on this team future. The problem is that both LAC and LAL are better this year, and the east teams are also better too. Like what Zboy posted, it is hard to image that the rockets will a title this year, but never say never, I thought that Astros were going to win all thing this year, I purchased the clothes ready for a parade, then you see what happened, that stupid GM choked at a big time.
He's actually getting worse as the season is going. He started well in the first 7 games or so, but he's definitely got a lot worse.
Whoever said Russ is the weakest link on the team is 100% right. When Gordon comes back Russ shouldn't see a minute in crunch time. Earlier in the year I was so scared of how the bench lineup would perform without Russ on a load management day. In reality Russ makes the bench a lot worse. They're legit better off with Rivers/Gordon running things.
Haven't you heard? "Chris Paul is washed dude. At least Westbrook can get his own shot" Just trying to lighten the mood.
It's not that Westbrook shot 7-30. Everyone has off nights. It's the way he shoots. Even at the rim, everything is an out of control heave. There's no sense that he's focusing or using any kind of muscle memory on his shots. It's just pure chaos.
I was told I was a moron for not preferring the least efficient scorer in NBA history to Chris Paul. I guess I’m a moron!
You're right though. Westbrook can get his own shot any time he wants. The other team fears him enough to run from and leave him wide open to brick any way of his choosing.
Worst part is I don't think teams have done a good enough job of scheming against Russ yet. I honestly expected a lot more from Pop tonight but JH just missed shots and we didn't have House. Soon Russ is gonna be given an entire island to shoot whatever he wants while they glue onto everyone else and JH doubled.
$38,506,482 this year. $171,139,920 altogether on the books for the Rockets for his contract. All-star caliber veteran PG and 2 first round picks given up for it. Whoever that guy was calling out Clutch in a thread earlier this season needs to come back and take his punches from the rest of us.
Yeah Russ is bad...real bad. How can someone do something like shoot, basically their whole life and still be completely ****?
