If EG can come back to the shooter we all know he can be, the Rockets might have 4 trustworthy shooters around Harden in EG, House, corner Tucker and Clark.
The incessant whining by many on this board is puzzling. MDA has a .700 winning percentage with us since he's been here. But, you wouldn't know it by the criticism he gets. Not to mention the posts calling for his head. He has a MUCH better record than Pops over the past few years. Yet, Pops never gets questioned or second-guessed.
When the bench and role players hit open threes or attack the basket it kills the Harden double strategy. We just need to defend and rebound, missing Capela a little here.
So the trend is that the Rockets' defense completely falls apart in 4th quarters which is not when you want it to fall apart...
I really don't like this late game crap of spreading the floor waaaaaay out and milking the clock. It's way too predictable, leaves us susceptible to turnovers and quick buckets the other way.
I really love Bam, strongh and athlethic, can pass, guard basically 5 positions...pretty sure he's going to be a decent if not good outside shooter too at some point.
