I'm one of the older posters on here, so mine may not resonate.

A pretty popular one with Jaleel White (AKA Urkel) when he was 5ish.

And another one I still recall. I'd be amazed if anyone recalls this one.

"I'm one of the older posters on here" and then you post commercials from the 80's???

I’ll play. By the way, the best thing about Lite Bright was the commercial.

I don’t know why you’re so obsessed with being ‘old’. We’re pretty closed in age and I like new music, media, styles, zeitgeists and experiences. I even understand gender identity.

Live in the now, brodude. The 80’s were great in a way but they were also an uptight smoke-filled bore-fest with no internet.

I was a huge GI Joe fan and even had the base that I bought with my own money. I wish I wouldn’t have shot them all up with a pellet gun when I was a teenager. Ah well.

Not trying to spoil Toy Story 4, but this scene rang so true for me from when I was a kid.

Fun Fact: Did you know that GI Joe: The Movie was basically cancelled after the Transformers Movie came out? Parents were so outraged that they killed off Optimus in that one so the GI Joe Movie became a regular 4 additional parts to the regular series and Duke? Well he was to go the way of Optimus, but if you rewatch you can clearly tell they dubbed in he was "in a coma" and later "was was ok!" So lame.

For all the nostalgia lovers in this thread, you should check out "The Toys that Made Us" on Netflix.

    Who recalls this?

Had one. Loved seeing it in this show. With a young Jason Bateman.

EDIT. This has to be my favorite Jason Bateman Character. A 13 year old blatently hitting on an incredibly hot woman (my first crush) I honestly think half the reason I named my son Derrick was based on this character.
