Tell me how many dumb turnovers Watson has against the Pats and I will tell you if they win or not. O/U 2 If there are 2 or more the Texans lose. 2 or less and they have a good chance to win. Sure is nice to have a healthy WFV back.
U seem to b focusin your negativity on the wrong person. IF BoB calls sht plays -> it will lead to watson trying to hard 2 b a hero = turnovers. If watson never bothers to make magically plays our offense under BoB will literally b 3 and outs.
No matter what homers like @Mr.Scarface think, BoB is a bad football coach period. He can't call plays and routinely makes boneheaded time out calls like the one he made at the end of the game yesterday. No intelligent football coach would call TO there. All those pre-snap penalties and illegal formations are all BoB's fault. Texans need at least an above average HC, which BoB is not.
They'll "fix mistakes". Don't worry! BOB will one day get us a record more than 10-6. Even if it takes 7 more quarterbacks and trading every remaining asset for another O-lineman during training camp.
Those turnover against the QB were all on Watson and had nothing to do with BOB. Watson has fumbled 8 times this year.
So when is anything ever BoB's Fault? False starts from oline basically every single drive Illegal formation from team? WR running wrong routes? All these things sound like something BoB should b disciplining to make life easier for his qb, so Watson doesn't have to make sht appear out of nowhere. But it's all watson's fault for not throwing the ball away every single time his oline crumbles or when they leave a man unguarded. if Scarface wasn't on this site, u probably would have taken his spot as BoB delusional fan numero uno. I do agree that some fumble maybe attributed to Watson for trying to hard of being a hero, but to outright blame Watson for every fumble while absolving the hc is just asinine. Hell u didn't even blame the shoddy oline created by BoB to defend his qb, it's all on the Qb for dem fumbles. pffft.
Before Watson got hurt rookie year with Fuller Watson Hopkins and good oline Texans scored 33,57,34,33,38 in Watson's last five games Last season it was Hopkins and nobody. The Baltimore game is not defendable but you guys holding on to the idea he cant coach offense are judging that on him having poor quarterbacks and still making the playoffs Indy played keep awau but after a few reps they couldn't stop the passing game. The line is gonna continue to gel and the offense will be fine
I just like the part " @Watson's urging" Shows that Deshaun does a lot of recruiting in the offseason.
And still made playoffs and has corrected the quarterback situations. Watsons aren't always available. He inherited a team who set a pick six record and got Watson as soon as he was available. He didn't have to tank to get his franchise qb I know im a homer but you're the exact opposite as if this guy has nothing.
BOB is at fault for many of the things you listed. Most of all he's at fault for not firing Devlin, you know the OL coach who's responsible for many of the issues you listed. He did bench Coutee for the bad route running you described. So there's discipline. I'm not even a huge BOB fan and you have lumped me in as a BOB supporter. (Not surprising. But until Watson stops making 2-3 boneheaded plays each game this team will continue to struggle. Do you think Watson has played even avg these last 2 weeks? Until Watson gets better at reading defenses and learns to step up into the pocket and deliver the ball accurately instead of drifting to his right when he feels pressure you can expect more hot games against poor teams and cold games against good teams. This is why I fully expect Watson to crap the bed at NRG 2 Sunday's from now. I hope I'm wrong because I will be at the game.
He was lucky to throws weren't intercepted and that fumble wasn't called. Otherwise we would be having another week of BOB's offense sucks and Watson is a God discussions. Thank God that's not happening this week.
