    So, a Ringer dude. For those keeping a scorecard (@The Cat) on twitter accounts claiming sources, was the tweet worded as speculation, or did he cite a source placing Gordon in a trade?

    just curious, since he deleted the tweet.

    it was just an article on speculation...top 5 teams that he thought could use kevin love and suggested trades.

    It wasn't claiming sources, just a strong endorsement of a Gordon + Nene + picks for Love deal for Houston, from a basketball perspective. However, the fact that Gordon not being trade eligible this season wasn't mentioned despite several paragraphs of analysis would lead me to believe that he wasn't aware. Disappointing.

    Love is a lot better defensively than he was in Minnesota. In Cleveland he had to adjust to James and Irving. He didn’t get the shots so he worked really hard defensively. He still can struggle in certain match ups and in transition defense but he is passable on that side of the ball.

    Since a hypothetical trade for Love would have to include Capela, which means we’d bolster one strength by weakening another, can someone take this thread out behind the barn and shoot it?

    Agreed, especially when it'd take, what, 30 seconds to pop it in something like RealGM to see if it's even possible.

    He'd get clowned posting something like that here, and we're not even being paid to bloviate like he is.

    Love's making----LOL!---29 million this year. It'd take 23-24 going out the door to match salaries. Who'd he have in mind, because Gordon + Nene won't cut it. Or are we ignoring salary in Ringer-land too?

    I like Clint a lot, but Myles Turner in a ROX uniform is awfully intriguing. It’s probably impossible, but I would give up *a lot* to pair Turner/Sabonis with JH/Russ. If we could keep House, PJ and fill the rest of the roster with defensive bets and Clemons esque snipers...oh man

    Sign Lance Thomas, Jonathon Simmons, Anthony Randolph or Corey Brewer.
