Jerseys look pretty good, but is Les still running the team? He's the reason the gold/yellow was banished.
At the very least I can respect that they used “H Town” that’s definitely the preferred lingo for Houston .
Yea that looks like a Lego costume suit. I like the city uniform glad the “leaked” image from the video game was fake.
These blue jerseys came and went so fast..... Why? They were so badass. These actual city jerseys are not cool. Like non.
It’s clean yet very scattered with the flag, Rockets patch, logo, checkers. It definitely fits with a space suit / rocket, but still doesn’t impress me. It’s definitely not laughable like some around the league, but nothing special either.
the blue throwback rockets jersey I do like. I was going to buy the Mitchell and ness shorts until I realized the pinstripes don’t line up with each other. Tf kinda design is that?
It’s like having to explain your joke. They’re not THAT bad, they’re just boring. NASA inspiration seemed clear enough but it could have been better.
Might as well start with the positive. They're trying... in a successful direction, at least. They're not amazing, but they're not horrible. You get the inspiration. - why not go with the ACTUAL nasa font? Perhaps they couldn't "license" it?? Why not just continue to go with an "R" logo, but just change it entirely to foot to the NASA font. See the link above? The R in NASA font is amazing. Especially if you consider the loop in the R itself kind of mimics a three point line, and folks could get creative filling in the "paint" area inside there you can also see NASA font here: https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/nasalization#fonts-section I guess again that they are just trying to do their own font that is NASA/Space inspired. So it's not that bad. But I still can't get over how awful the logo is, principally the blood dripping chinese R. I pray that the distancing from China pushes them to update the R sooner than later. It seems like they are going the route of baby steps away from prior designs, as opposed to a grand overhaul.... so maybe next offseason the R is tackled.
