Clark shooting 24% from 3 couldn't be any worse than EG shooting 24% from 3 …. at least Clark might grab a rebound here and there or get in someone's way on their way to the bucket.

EG is a 2 …. and a streaky one - Not a 3 or 4. His minutes on this team should come behind Harden and Westbrook.

Play Clark at the 4 …. Tucker and House at the 3. Trade Hartenstein and Ryno for nothing to clear up roster spots to use the two $3m+ TPE's , wait 90 days and use those two who came into the TPE's to plug a hole in the rotation via trade.

Meyers Leonard has been a trash player for like 5 years, he had some decent games last season and is looking ok now (especially against us of course), but this comes after 5 years he has been in the league and had multiple chances to play in Portland.

Hartenstein is in his 2nd year and is 21, i'm not sure how you can label him as a bust. D.Mo was trash too until his 3rd year, and we found out he was good only because T.Jones got injured and McHale was forced to give him minutes.

    Clark with a Harden-esque stat line: 27 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists on 11-28, 5-15 3pt shooting

No minutes available for the reigning G-league finals MVP :(

We’ll miss him once he joins the Clippers.......

Teams like the Blazers dare develop their 7 footers into viable assets no matter how many they have stockpiled at once.

Clark is 6'6 with 6'10 wingspan.

Rockets need longer players to rotate at 4/5. Clark is not answer at those spots.

Clark is so close to breaking through. If that beautiful shot of his would start dropping, his defense is already an upgrade to everyone outside of PJ Tucker. He would be a fantastic PF type for D’Antoni to rotate in there.

    Pulling for you GC.

He had chances to impress in SL and preseason against rookies and roster hopefuls. I dunno why you act like he was never seen again he averaged 28 mpg in SL lol.

His slump isnt just a 2 month affair like EG his shooting has always been trash in the NBA level. I'm about done with the Clark experiment and so is MDA since he is giving Maclemore and Clemons the opportunities Clark would have had.

If he was that good he would've dominated SL instead of being totally invisible.

I'm not particularly high on either Hartenstein or Clark …. but ask yourself one question:

Could the results of playing Clark at the 3 be any worse than what we are seeing from EG shooting 23.3% from 3
and playing poor to middling defense ?

I mean , Maybe Clark grabs a rebound or two or gets in someone's way on defense while shooting 29.7% from 3.

We really have Nothing at the 3 spot behind House and less at the 4 spot behind Tucker.

EG's minutes should come at the guard spots behind Harden and WB.

Really couldn't hurt to throw Clark in the deep end - sink or swim for a few games.

I think Hartenstein deserves a shot too. Dude hustles every time he steps on the court.

I really missed those days when we had young players like Lowry, Landry and Wafer pushing up the pace. It was so fun to watch them play. Now our bench is full of washed up guys. We need to inject some young blood!

EG was full time sf last year when Rox had 3rd seed. He is shooting horrendously bad but he has also shot amazing in the past which Clark hasnt done in his entire career yet. If there is anyone you throw in there to sink or swim then it has to be EG over Clark.

You have to ask yourself why the dude making 15M should get benched in favor of the dude who can't dominate SL?

In terms of backing up SF and PF Thabo and Anderson should get opportunities over Clark because those guys have played great in the past. Clark hasnt really shown anything and even failed to stand out vs lesser competition. I dont know why you guys expect him to be better vs NBA opponents when he can't do **** vs Gleague and SL competition. If he really deserves to playing time then he should show it vs weaker guys.

Then you better hope he gets cut but I think you are going to have a bad time if you want more traditional size from our bigs. Morey doesn’t want that.

Who needs "player development" when you only play a 7 man rotation?!!!!!

Is there any hope that these two develop excellent chemistry and we start to refer to them collectively as Clarkenstein?

I don't get why we sometimes just accept Gordon will now be a 23% shooter. He is struggling but he is going to turn around and he will be the 3rd best offensive player on this team. The disadvantage of not playing EG is that by not playing him you will prolong that slump
