You understand that the identity of the whistleblower doesn’t matter, right? We have actual testimony confirming what the whistleblower said. You can’t invalidate something by attacking it’s origins (genetic fallacy). You have to actually deal with the facts themselves.
Well, ignoring that there have been a number of trump's own people that have testified to verify what the whistleblower reported, so the continued trump defender focus on the whistleblower is both pointless and smells of desperation. But equally if not more important, the desperate effort to out the WB sends such a trumpian message... that people who are counted on to report illegal acts under the protection of anonymity can no longer count of that protection. And worse, trump and his people will threaten people that testify against them to prevent their testimony. Which adds yet another count of obstruction of justice to a growing list.
So actual GOP legislators didn't have the balls to leak it themselves so they leak it to a right wing fake PhD grifter who is willing to do the dirry work. 2 things. First, hundreds of people "worked under" Joe Biden and Susan Rice. They were high level appointees in a presidential administration. Second, by now trying to discredit the whistleblower is a pointless cause that only works on gullible right wing idiots. Every testimony from Trump supporting political appointees to career servicemen have testified under oath confirming what the whistleblower has said with no contradictions.
Not pointless. If I step into the shoe of trump or his supporters: Vengeance, distraction, deflection, suppression and protection (oh there are more crimes waiting to be discovered and to be performed). It’s a witch hunt and knowing the WB will prove it to themselves.
Trump and crew are busy getting out the whistleblowers name because they hope to incite one of their supporters to kill him or her because that’s how crime syndicates operate. Its a chilling effect to say if you expose our corrupt behavior we will destroy you.
