There is a great chance sometime next year, the ERA amendment will be passed by Virginia now. That would make it the 38th state to ratify it. The fight will then be to remove the deadline restrictions (was 1982 after an extension) from the Amendment in Congress. It has a good chance of become the 28th amendment.
